werewolf vs vampire

Black_Canary15
how would I go about becoming one? I've encountered a few vampires but nothing really happened and am I able to at my current level of 14?

IGN has a wiki for this game and explains how to do this. u can get bites form other players in the recruitment site of the forums where u can find players that are willing to give bites. Some people charge money others don't. Just be careful of the people charging money some few will take You're gold and run.

You need to keep in mind that not every Vampire in ESO is infectious. The only NPC Vamps that can turn you are extremely rare ones called Bloodfiends that spawn randomly in your last zone (ie: Bangkorai for Daggerfall Covenant). You should also note that you may come across Bloodfiends during quests, but these will not be able to infect you. Alternatively players that have Vampirism can bite you at an altar - this is most likely the easiest way.
You can become a Vampire at level 14, but the quest is like level 38 or something I think so you may have to work for it!

Those special mobs just spawn during a special ingame time.

    Vampires - new moon
    Werewolves - fullmoon

Easier is to ask a guild mate who is allready vampire or werewolf, as the mobs are hard to find and some people kill them if they got bitten instead of just running away and out of combat.

The moons do not apply any more. As has been said go to a shrine some one may just bite you for free. Before you do I would suggest researching the downsides of each before you choose.

Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.

Thanks i'll do that. I don't know if it's the same disadvantages from skyrim so i'll look that up before I make a decision.

it is not, vampires have consistent flame weakness and the health regeneration drops with each stage (along with the cost of vamp abilities) and if you are on PC (and on console in 2 days) you will not gain any positive passives apparently unless you slot a vamp ability.

werewolves had constant stam regen buff but it got changed on PC (consoles soon following) so it only works while you slot the ultimate. while transformed you are weak to poison.

also both of them are weak against FG abilities that some guards use (to affect werewolves you need an extra perk) so be careful not to swim to escape as a turned WW or vamp and be extra careful in PvP
