Im still vet1?

I am AD, cadwells silver is in EP for me. I have completed Bleakrock isle, Stonefalls, Deshaan, done a few quests in riften and numerous side quests in EP and AD zones alike. Yet I am still only halfway through vet1 and the next zone is too high for me to complete quests in. I have also upgraded my blacksmithing by 10 levels and have upgraded woodworking by 3.

But for starters the best advice I can give you is to open your laptop or phone.. Get a map of each zone opened up on your screen.. Make sure you discover each POI and do all delves and public dungeons. Each of these will give you massive EXP for the first time you do them.

I do not know how you can still be vet one as I have one of my AD characters who is VET5 and has only spent a few hours grinding Vivecs area.

Do more quests. I'm VR5 and I was managing a level per zone. I just made sure I did all the quests available, all the delves and both daily pledges.

How have you even managed that? I'm vr7 and only just starting the 3rd zone in silver, I actually hit vr1 just before I started the cold harbour quest line.as I did literially everything in the game up until that point.

You haven't completed the silver zones you've listed. Pure and simple, you've skipped past a ton of them. If you do everything in a Cadwell's Silver or Cadwell's Gold zone (all of the quests, delves, public dungeons, world bosses, dolmens, exploration) each one (starter islands aside - they get you less) should get you around 1,000,000 - 1,500,000 XP. If you're on console, that will be 1-1.5 vet levels per full zone. Post-patch that will rank you up even faster (and actually, as well as reducing the XP per vet rank, I think the patch increases the XP you earn).

So yeah, you definitely haven't been exploring, and you definitely haven't completed those zones.

Go to cadwells almanac in your quest log. If everything is checked off, then you're good to go to the next area/chapter.

That's not true. Just completing Cadwell's and nothing else in the zone will get you nowhere near one rank per zone.

Just cadwells + dolmens, delves + wb will pretty much get you a level.

You've skipped a ton of quests, worlds bosses and delves I'm assuming.

In my experience and this holds true for just about every MMO that has quest achievements per zone.

Aim to get the Quest achievement in a zone before moving on to the next, usually the achievement is something like 90-95% of all the quests in that area. So if you earn the achievement you can be satisfied knowing that you have done just about everything you can do.

If i were you id go back to stonefalls and complete your achievement there, chances are you completed the two small EP tutorial areas as theres really not much going on there anyways.
