Vet grinding for AD assistance

Does anyone know good places to grind alone? I'm on 2nd char so questing isn't really something I want to do. The best places I know are the beach zombies at Alik'r Desert and the worm cults at the Rift due to the insane spawn rate, but these places are heavily populated and nigh on impossible to grind. I'm currently vet 5 so preferably Caldwell gold zones.
