Armour Passive Question

I'm taking Medium Armour and on the first Passive Ability - Dexterity - it says; "Increases your Critical Strike rating with physical attacks for each piece of Medium Armour equipped."

I was wondering exactly what was meant by 'Physical Attacks'? A Light and/or a Heavy Attack or a Skill Attack? They're both 'physical' attacks so I find the meaning confusing. I'm sure someone will enlighten me.

In this case physical attacks are all skills that cost stamina as well as light and heavy attacks with everything but staves.

HHmm, what about the attacks that use Magicka, don't they count?
