be warned this may sound rude or confused as i am writeing this im tad angry>

so iv been playing only a small bit im a darkelf dk leveling seems to be going like no were questing i cant find a quest line to fouce on casue i cant do more of ether guild atm.

also i am trying to be a mage with destro staff have 1 heavy 1 med 5 light armor i think not sure on the med but i die to like everything or is that just how it is mages cant fight more then 1 thing at a time

    Hi!

    First off I'm on NA PC, feel free to game-mail me if you are on it too.

    I'm in the process of leveling my first dunmer DK, and I'm treating him basically like a fire mage. By this I mean, use light armor (I notice you do that too), destro staff (fire to get the full dunmer bonuses - and then I fire glyph on top of that), load up on all the passives I can, and choose abilities that mostly work from a distance (i.e. the fire clench from the destro staff).

    In general, make sure that you are always moving (even side to side is better than just standing there) in PvE it doesn't take much to screw up the AI targeting and that will save you.

    You mention that you are stalled out as far as guild questing - mages, fighters guild and prophet questing will only show up every 5 levels, so you need to be working the zone quests too. What alliance are you in - and (standard question) did you finish the Wailing Prison (you can come out at 4th or even 5th level) and did you do the starter island?

    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    DK mage was my first char ,it's still one of my favorites to play and very easy to use.I would suggest starting off with the main city quests then slowly moving outward.

    cant find not crafting quests in the main town and i just skiped the staterdungeon and cam in to the world
    also think its pack i dont have the any race any ally thing

    You don't have access to crafting quests till you hit 7th level.

    If you skipped the starter, what level are you? And where are you (what does the map say). There should be an option to go to the starter island.

    I'd actually advise you to roll up another character simply for the purpose of going slowly through the Wailing Prison and getting to learn a bit of how to play.

    If you are pact (and if you are a dunmer without any race/any faction that seems likely) then right across the way from the house you 'woke' in, there should be a big nord that you can go startle, and he will direct you to the docks to talk to .. I think it's Lisel or some name like that....? You might be able to just go down to the docks and find her.

    Everyone starts with a 2-handed sword. All the rest is whatever the random drops give you.

    For some weird reason my last character was getting tons of sashes/belts, gloves/gauntlets and lightning staffs. Weird.
