For those who come from strictly first person eso games im not refering to all pve content. Im not referring to the "story". What happens when youre maxed out from pve? Do it 7 more times on other toons?

So I just checked the game hub to see how much time it has recorded for the game running. Other than making cups of tea and bacon butties, if the game is running, I have been playing. Err and reading/answering the forum
So, time currently recorded at 306 hours.
I am only playing one char at the mo and am just starting the Cadwells silver, so basically, two more games to go (counting a game as the 'main quest line').
Tbh, if it took me 290hrs to do one questline, multiply that by three and that's before I start again.
So, will it get boring to redo this stuff? I won't darn well remember after 870hrs!!!

Even PvP got boring it seems...since they had to add "new and exciting" ways and places for players to kill each other with Imperial City.
How the hell have you spent 300 hours in the game and not got 6 vr 14s or so? Seriously I've done just about everything possible on 3 characters now and I've only been playing since July...
Is it not borring to follow 10 or 20 players in a small area and spam the same skills over and over to kill players or mobs you see ?
Pvp or pve can be borring. It's how you do it and with who..
I'm a PVE player who largely feels the same way about PVP and the IC DLC as @newtinmpls does (although I'm trying to learn to do some regular PVP in Cyrodiil as well). I've been really having a lot of fun in IC.Moonshadow66 wrote: »newtinmpls wrote: »Moonshadow66 wrote: »I did not buy the IC DLC, too much PvP for my taste, and I'm a single player coming from the previous ES games.
Not sure if I should level the other 2 characters as well. But I'll definitely get any PvE DLC as soon as they're out.
I had it via sub, and normally I don't care for PvP (I die. A lot) but due to the fast respawn, the monsters interupting the PvPing, and the closeness of everything (IC has a smallish feel to it) I'm having a really good time.
Thank you for your reply, this is definitely an interesting thing to know about IC.. Hm, maybe I'll reconsider my decision and get it
What I'd suggest if you're now considering buying it, though, is to buy a 1 month sub to ESO+ instead. That way you get 1500 Crowns (don't spend those Crowns) at only a slightly higher price than buying a Crown pack, and you get a whole month to try out IC and decide if you like it enough to spend the Crowns on buying it outright. If you do, then the 1500 Crowns you got with your 1 month sub can go towards the price of IC. If you don't, then you can hang on to those Crowns and maybe put them towards Orsinium in a few months (or use them on whatever else you might want to spend Crowns on).

RNG to get the helm at all.
RNG to get the right armour type.
RNG to get the right trait.
RNG to get the shoulder piece from gold chest choosing from like a dozen different monster set shoulders.
RNG to get the right armour type.
RNG to get the right trait.
It's extremely tiresome.
Exactly how I watch Pvp unfold, as I play 10-16 hrs/day & 7 days. You must be XBox EU lol.Ace_of_Destiny wrote: »Everything "gets boring" eventually.

This, I generally pvp alot in games, sure it's fun, but it's very much the same for me every experience.
Roll up to enemy keep, take resources, setup siege, take keep.
Or setup siege, enemy zerg comes in, respawn, get ganked en route, respawn again, get ganked again, respawn, kill gankers, run back to keep and fight zerg again.
There's only one actual objective in pvp, and generally, it's take an enemy keep, spend an hour defending it till they take it back, gather zerg and take it back again.
Log on in the morning to find entire map yellow, then take them all back again to repeat the next day
