Unable to improve a weapon at 100%

I've asked in game but got not a single reply. I'm trying to improve a weapon and when I add the materials to make it 100% chance I get the red aura as if its failed and I've lost the weapon and materials. Once the red aura has gone it shows the weapon in the improve window as if it was improved.

If I 'alt' out and look in my inventory the weapon and materials are still there and the weapon is not improved. Initially the item was unbound so I thought that might be it and bound it but this makes no difference.

I've logged off, restarted my computer, deleted user settings but this makes no difference.

Any ideas?

Weird. Is it using your improvement material (hemming etc.)? (just noticed you mentioned materials still there)

Is it only that item, can you improve different items?

Just took a look. Seems its just that particualr weapon. I crafted another of the same type and that improved. I can also improve other items, strange.

Ah well. As its only a single item I'll just sell it and move on.... Thanks anyways

I think there is an issue with the crafting stations and the new Dropped Set Items.

One guy can't decon something, the other can' improve it.

@ZOS_GinaBruno This is the third thread about trying to improve or decon a Dropped Set Item, more than likely from IC that can not be done
