Magicka DK Update 7 Build

Hi guys,

This is my new build that i have tested on pts and I am working on getting the sets on live. Let me know what you think.

I've been trying to find the sweet spot for my magicka DK. Thanks for the vid, my mind is bursting with ideas.

I was starting to become convinced that stamina was my only option but after seeing an unbuffed 13k burning embers I think I'm gonna enjoy melting high dps vamps until at least the next update.

Have you considered the Overwhelming Surge 4 piece as a substitute for Scathing Mage for increased spell power? Looks like you have a lot of room to improve spell damage but I see your point that doing so would trade off regen and possibly max magicka.

I think regen might be solved by reduced spell cost glyphs paired with vampirism and the appropriate CP passives. Doing that, I think it's totally within the realm of possibility to get spell power near or above 5k if you work it right.

Nice work.. I also notice the magicka regen tick followed up by taking the magicka away without casting any abilities.

Yeah, I have considered Overwhelming Surge but the reason i like my setup is because of the crit.

Yeah, it's strange and I've heard from other people that it happened before in the previous updates.

I did some more testing on pts and I think I found the right balance for me.
