Intricate item decon

Has anyone been looking at the inspiration returned from deconning an intricate item?
I have been passing high level items to my alts and the inspiration returned from these items is weird.
Sometimes the XP returned is actually LESS than that of a normal item.
I checked again after the patch, and this is an example of an item that is being deconned:
Lvl 4 Metalsmith Alt: Decon a V6 Galatite Helm
Normal: 1304 inspiration
Intricate: 1304 inspiration
In this case no benefit whatsoever!
Is it not supposed to give a 280% bonus?

Haxnschwammer✭✭✭✭Afaik there is a level cap. If your item is to far away from your crafters level the experiecne points (or inspiration points) are cut down. I'm not really sure about that. I've read about that months ago...Once I was a healer. Then I took a Wrobel to the knee.
