Does Major Resolve Trigger Shield Breaker Damage?

Simple Question here.
Many powers activate major resolve and major ward, like immovable, spiked armour and shadow barrier.
It seems like it's technically not a damage shield as it increases resistance, but is not an actual "shield" that covers your health.
Would us8ng powers that grant this resistance be safe from the "WRATH OF THE ALMIGHTY SHIELD BREAKER"?

If that's the case, dk's should drop igneous shield for spiked armour unless figting non-shield breaker dps.Bosmer Stamina NB
