I've had the game since around Week 2 but I've only been able to access voice chat once in total, during very early morning (EU time), all other times it tells me the voice chat servers are down for routine maintenance. I've opened all the necessary ports and I've even tried putting my xbox into a DMZ to test for voice chat connectivity, but nothing has worked. Strangely enough, when I download my friend's profile and log into his account, his voice chat works, although inconsistently.
With all this taken into account, it seems as though ZOS don't have sufficient voice chat servers and begin 'locking' people out when capacity is reached. Similar situation to GTA-V multiplayer, wherein it was 'first in best dressed' for the first 2 weeks of the multiplayer until they upgraded servers. But this is pure speculation.
All I know for sure, is that it's definitely not a problem with my home network, therefore it must be something on ZOS' side.
Will this ever be addressed? This game is awfully difficult to play without voice connectivity and so far every forum post i've read has attributed the problem to the user's home network, where this is definitely not the case with my problem.
