I think the closest match you'll find available at the moment will be a staff made using the khajiit motif that has a drain health/magicka or irresistible damage enchantment.

I don't remember Abnur's staff exactly if but that sounds like the kajiith motif.

Oh. Apparently a low drop chance from a low chance spawn dolmen general and probably not that good. Good luck with that.
ZOS has a tendency of hiding some of the best looking gear behind low drop chance useless drops.

You have a chance of dropping after defeating a Crescent Dremora. It comes with a Life Drain enchantment (deal magic damage/restore health). Keeping in mind our weapons are not like NPCs and won't glow permanently

You have a chance of dropping after defeating a Crescent Dremora. It comes with a Life Drain enchantment (deal magic damage/restore health). Keeping in mind our weapons are not like NPCs and won't glow permanently

I have the staff myself, it used to look exactly like Abnur Tharn's Staff. But, they had to change it to a dull silver. *sigh*

I can give much more info on this staff as I have gotten one, and that picture is actually of mine.

Just like Alucardo said, it is a rare Dolmen drop AFTER you defeat the Crescent Daedra, there is also a dagger styled like the Daedric Crescent that drops after he is defeated as well.

Unless Cyrodiil Dolmens now drop VR14 items, the max level for this item is VR10 (the level of mine).

It comes fresh in Superior quallity, the silvery parts change color based on level of the improvement, at Legendary (like mine) it is a darker silver, I can't remember the colors for Superior and Epic quality.
