For some, sure. But there are far more people that play the game and never come on the forum. There have been 108,991 people who have posted on here. Hopefully this is a small fraction of those who are playing ESO.
Fixed it for you!Sensesfail13 wrote: »Where as the game just isnt fun anymore, it actually sucks... bad... since the last patch.IMHO
I see a lot of posts on here every day and I always ask myself "has the game become so boring that players spend more time in the forums than in the game?"
Sure we all need a place to vent but are the forums really more important than the game? If not then why do so many players spend time here instead of grinding out champion points or whatever they desire in the game.
New guy here.
I find that they're pretty much all the same.

Haha, so true. It doesn't matter what game it is, or who the company is, the forums are usually always identical. Always full of doom and gloomers, there's always that small group of people who think that because they know a bit of html or css they're programmers and know everything about making mmo's, there's always that group that pulls stats out of their butts and argues they're real, and there's always that one guy that supposedly rage quit and deleted his tons years ago but still spends half his life on the forum, and of course there's always the general consensus amongst the troll community that that specific game is worst run game in existence regardless of how many examples of worse companies you can provide and prove.
You have to put this in context. There are some people who have well over 5K comments and have not even been around a year and then there are other here like me who have been here since beta rounds, going onto 2yrs+ and still not cracked 2k comments. Some people in all games I have played end up making "forum life" and the personae they create for themselves more important than playing the game itself.
I tend to go through phases of reading, then posting, then not coming to the forums at all for maybe weeks or months, depending on my time and interest level in things I discover in game, but rarely ever is it the other way around. I am also a regular member of Tamriel Foundry and tend to spend far more time reading there than here, when I feel inclined to read. The hyperbole is less and far more useful information is more readily found.
Rabble rabble rabble rabble!New guy here.
I always check out the forums of any new MMO I play. I find that they're pretty much all the same.
It's all just noise to me anyway.

I miss my Beta forum badges...
TF got stale to me, after launch. It felt like little changed, but I guess that was your point.
Add to that. some PVP players like to PVP the forums when they cant be in game... and you KNOW who you ARE.

I've gotten caught up in the whole text chat debate and admittedly was a little more negative than I'd like to see myself as so trying my best to focus on the positive. This is a truly great game so just want to begin to help paint a better picture for newcomers here
