Almost every time I log in I die from fall damage... :(

Sometimes the scenery changes. It doesn't happen to me every time, but has a few times... Sometimes I land somewhere in Tamriel.. Sometimes I land in another galaxy where there is nothing (except what suspiciously looks like a tile floor)

I've experienced the falling from logon but haven't died from it yet. Hopefully it continues that way for me.

Problem has been around since beta although I rarely run into it anymore. Not sure what causes it.

Dang man that sucks. One time I fell under Riften and ran around emoting at people trying to scare them through brick walls. Kept walking and ended up somehow coming out in the outlaws refuge.

Lol! I like the "you are enlightened" message that came up moments before your doom. Maybe this is how the game is intended to work and they're trying to get players to reflect on their lives to attain everlasting peace

I have reported this a few times since the last update and I noticed that it is still in game.

The weirdest one was when I was resurrected it was in another zone.

I don't have this happen nearly as often as you seem to, but I have had it happen a number of times since the IC patch. Including the times when I've ended up in a different spot from where I logged off (like on the upper floor of a bank instead of the lower floor, or beside a wayshrine instead of in the bank, etc) this has probably happened to me about 10 times since the patch (that's out of a minimum of 16 log-ins per day as I check in on each of my characters and grab their hireling mail). I think 2 or 3 of those times I died from fall damage (in one case I fell through Shornhelm and landed dead on top of the underground cistern area below).

If you're having this happen with great frequency, it might be a good idea to take off all of your gear before logging off. That way you won't have a repair bill when you log on and fall to your death. Not an ideal solution, but it might be worth doing.

To be fair, though, "go naked" is pretty much my solution to anything... It just happens that in this particular case it might actually make sense.

I have 16 characters (was dinking with 15 and finally created a quite alien-looking argonian NB that I like) but I have never done even half of their stuff in one day.

I boggle at your commitment to the game, and to your characters.

If you spam the esc. button when falling you should land on your feet with no damage. Works for me.

Its not happening every time to me but several times I've logged in, took a few steps, the screen will either flash gray or a momentary loading screen then I'll be falling about 100-200 feet to my death. I got lucky once at Elden Root and landed on a root of The Great Tree after falling maybe 20 feet.
