Vampire Feed Animation

Who would like the developers to change the feed animation to a neck bite? I can't say I care much for the current animation.

    Yea. I think it's a bit too "Legacy of Kain".

    Low on the list of things that need attention. Definitely after getting vampires fangs.

    It makes me chuckle. Who knew vampires were such sloppy eaters?

    honestly don't see how they could do a neck bite unless our player models were combined with the victims for the feeding animation. otherwise there is no way to properly align a neck bite with a moving target.

    though at the very least id love to see fangs and a more Feral expression when in combat showcasing those Fangs. would be nice to have more sound effects in combat as a vampire. hissing and growling with supernatural undertones etc. small things like that really add to the immersion of the role.

    would be awesome too if there was a "predator/night vision" overlay for Vamps. "sense Living" would actually be a cool passive to have.

    They could make it so You erupt in a plume of smoke, Your Victim Freezes in place.

    And lets out a Cry at the same time as Your fangs pierce their Neck, followed by a brief Blood Spray.

    Afterwards You rematerialize in the same place You started the Feed Animation.

    i'd be happy with this even if the old animation stayed.
    on that note, i want drain to also share a similar feeding animation.

    I can imagine why they did it that way, how would a small bosmer bite a tall high elf? But someone already suggested a jumping on the target animation, that could work, the current wireless blood animation looks silly

    And please make vamp bite different buttons to BOW.

    My Bosmer when using Blade of Woe kicks the back of knees to make teh taller races buckle backwards to slit/Stab the necks mainly seen this used on the Altmer and Nord NPCs

    Seems like just "slight" animation tweeks from what is already available based on many of the BoW animations that are not thrown.

    Hell Altmer with the Arm Grab and Raise BoW Animation would look near cinematic if they just switched the violent face stab into vicious throat bite.

    I always felt that Vampire "Feed" / Werewolf Devour needed to be a bit more over the top dramatic when used on NPCs

    Current animation is like sucking the juice out of some vital part.
    History, like a human being, is thirsty when it wakes from its slumber…History wants to drink up an enormous amount of blood. And even if history has tired of drinking blood, that’s only in regards to the amount. But what about quality? The larger the sacrifice is, the more delighted the cruel gods will be.
