The public guild traders bidding needs to go

It should have been once you have 50 members you get a public guild trader. Instead the guilds that can easily put 200k-to a million on traders are taking over eso. The smaller guilds that don't have 200k have no chance in getting a public guild trader. I have 130 members but no one contributes to the bank so I am starting to see if you don't have it least 100k on you don't bother in bidding. That is why it should of always been free when you hit 50 you have your own public trader that you can pick each week where you want him.

As more ppl play this game. Devs might add more traders. Or the rest just have to sell on zone chat.

And conversely, as less people play the more you end up finding traders with nothing more than high priced V14+ items (or nothing on them at all). It's silly seeing a trader in a starter zone selling veteran level gear to <lvl 10 players.
Oh so you play on a console? Well this is a console game after-all I suppose.

This here. I think there needs to be restrictions in place if someone wants a public kiosk. It shouldn't just be awarded to any guild as soon as they hit 50 members and has 1 page of 27g green recipes, a whack of crafting style stones for 50g each and some jokester that has a Potato priced for 1 mil for laughs.

Roadside kiosk - no restriction on bidding
City kiosk - 50 active members and a minimum of 10 pages of items (1000 listings)
Capital city kiosk - 250 active members and a minimum of 20 pages of items (2000 listings)

I define active as any member that has logged in within the last month.

In addition, I suggest raising the "buy it now" price from 100g to:
    Roadside kiosk - 5000g
    City kiosk - 50000g
    Capital city kiosk - 100000g

We don't need every barely breathing guild with half a page of trash picking up these spots simply because they happened to download the patch and log in first. I say make people earn the spots with decent guild stores and pay a fair price for the kiosks that go unbid. These after bid locations could make great backup spots for guilds that lose a bid. Lower end guild stores should at least have to think twice before auto buying for the week. Put a price on them will deter guilds with full rosters of inactives from wanting the spot so guilds with solid stores (and are more than willing to pay the price) can get it.

With all this said, I'm sure there are other options like the often mentioned auction house or some hybrid of the two but my suggestion assumes that the current kiosk/bidding system stands.

In one manner it is actually. Not saying it is right but if you do not have the items to sell then you should not be able to get the spot for your guild.

Most ppl get "The items" to sell. Just they have a little less amount. So we will see more and more ppl yelling on the street, and then they got frustrated and go to play other games. We would have enough traders again.

Especially for those console poor souls..

The powerful guild control is the problem, they just squash any competition and cooperate among themselves.

i think a better system for this game would be a auction house but not by traditional MMO style but something very ESO style. instead of the merchants being locked to one guild allow all of them to be attached to all guilds that have reach enough members & has purchased a sellers licence for that guild to add items to the market. this would help with the issue of not having enough merchants & allow new up coming guilds to be able to compete with those whom have been around since the beginning & allow for a more open market with a more wide variety of items but also not destroy what the ideal of guilds were meant to be.

Tbh I don't like it when smaller guilds get the trader, mainly cause I wanna buy something. And the smaller guys never have what I want, chances are if a guild can outbid you they are better for the job
My biggest fear in life is, ending up marrying a girl who is lactose intolerant, think about it you would have to purchase double the amount of milk every week, cause you enjoy the goodness of full cream milk and she is drinking soy beans, and her milk takes up extra room in the fridge, or when you are doing a midnight run to the fridge to get a nice cup of milk and to accidentally pour some Soy milk. I couldn't imagine a worst way to do married life. - Barry Scott

If your guild camt raise the funds then tough, people are obviously not committed or don't care if you have 130 members. 100k isn't that hard to make. You can't have everything handed to you on a plate the guilds that have the top traders have worked hard for them and rightly so. It's a very high achievement to hold on to a top guild trader. Just because you can't achieve that level of income doesn't mean every thing should be made easy and worthless so you can have it.

Scrap the 5 guild system as you have no Loyalty to a guild.

Add a Auction house for all to use across all allience's.

Transfers were a great idea though amiright? :p

But yes the trading system is just horrible in this game. With its current system there really is NO CHANCE at a low level ever finding something of use or that they can even afford to buy in this game lol.

Let alone if any new guild even thinks they will ever be able to own a GMerchant!
This is one of those things that can be chalked up to the folks around during beta that said this was a great idea and would fit in with ES lore..

Well it just doesn't work in a MMO lol. Not when you have this many people trying to play and buy/sell items. It just isn't fair to the newer players.

What I find interesting is that Robert S. Trump (President, Trump Management, Inc.; brother of Donald Trump is on the board of directors and an investor for ZOS and we cannot get an Auction House for public trading in this game :/

It might work if every guild could recruit unlimited number of members, and selling unlimited items instead of 30.
