Imperial City - Gear progression, how?

I'm reading through the patch notes, but now since PC players have IC....can someone answer these gear questions?

1) What happens to crafted set items? Can you craft...for example....Magnus set for VR16 level? If so, does the crafted set just require more of the current material to craft a VR16 set?
2) What happens to all existing Cyrodiil or Veteran Dungeon / Pledge gear? Does it stay at VR 12 and VR14?

    Yes you can craft new gear at V16. All the old crafting stations and the new ones work just fine. The materials for V15/V16 are harder to get and for V16, you require 120 - 150 for each piece you craft

    All current gear stays as it is. Most of it is completely obsolete now. You're better off with a V16 set even if it has a slightly worse combination of abilities than your current gear as you can make much of the loss back with new higher value glyphs.

    Two things caught my eye here. What is the new materials for crafting vr15/vr16? Cloth/ores only found in IC?

    And Glyphs...are there new runes that are needed for VR15/VR16?

    Potency wise yeah they're v15-v16 new ones along with new essence runes.

    So Monster mask sets are pointless to go after now since they will be 4 levels lower than cap?

    No. All dungeons scale to VR16 now and will drop VR16 helmets. Trials and VDSA have never scaled and remain at VR12/VR14. Cyrodiil proper is still VR14 and gear bought with AP still maxes out at VR14. You need a currency from Imperial City, Tel Var stones, to buy VR15/VR16 gear.
