Currently in San Francisco airport (going back to Los Angeles) and playing ESO while waiting for my flight.

Hey, got to feed/train my mound! :-)

Care to share out of the way places you played ESO this week?

Gonna try out Imperial city this weekend!

cheers!

Not this week. Although, when I went on vacation to Vegas (I'm Canadian) I brought my old laptop, updated it to 1.6 on hotel room wifi just so I could do dailies like training my mount ;)

Dang, that sucks. I had no power for about 24 hours over the weekend, and that was bad enough. Oh, and as a result I "played" (actually just logged in to grab my hireling mail) from a Starbucks this week!

I do typically take my laptop with me when I travel, so in the past I have played (usually just for a max of 30 minutes at a time here and there - and usually little more than grabbing my hireling mails and maybe questing for a short time) from hotels in Vegas, Victoria, Portland, Seattle, London, and also from a cottage just outside Kent that had the sketchiest internet connection I've ever had to deal with...

    Wow Urquan,

You are a serious gamer :-) I do use a laptop to play ESO. It's just more convenient being able to play most anywhere I can get an Internet connection although I haven't tried a Starbucks yet :-)

Would love to play while on a beach or even a park.

I'm at that stage where ESO is still addicting. I wonder how long before it becomes stale and monotonous? I hope not! I hope the game designers find ways to keep the game interesting and challengingn

lol not really... I'd be taking my laptop with me when I travel for other reasons anyway, so there's no reason not to log on to at least grab my hireling mails.

And as far as logging on from Starbucks goes, the main reason I took my laptop there was because I was getting really bored at home with no power, and I wanted to charge my laptop so I could at least watch movies on it at home. I figured that while I was there and had power and wifi I might as well grab my hireling mails.

Yeah, my only option for charging my laptop was to haul it out to the car and run the AC adapter. Sadly, Starbucks was not in the budget. :(

Things I miss about playing on a laptop is you can play anywhere...any time...

Although now that I recently purchased a vita I can remotely play my ps4 no matter where I am so not to bad :)

A little bit hard to play on the vita though

I've been playing at home but haven't had a chance to play yet because I'm either at work or school and then school work

I miss my laptop. I wish my PS4 and HDTV were portable. Unfortunately, I am not at home much lately and only have time to sleep when I am.

    And..

@Chieve , you can play ESO on a Vita?!!! :o

Yes you can, I'm actually pretty sure any game that comes out on the ps4 should be able to be remotely played using your vita, including ESO.

My parents are divourced, and I leave my ps4 at my mom's because I can't play it at my dad's, so I would use my vita to remotely play my ps4 at my moms, it's pretty sweet.

It's a little bit hard to use sometimes though because you have to get used to pressing the back part of the vita for r2, r3, l2, and l3, but regardless still very nice to have

Hey Chieve, another reason to buy a PS4 vs XBox :-) I wanted to wait till Fallout4 is released before I shell out for a PS4 but the magical VITA may make me purchase it sooner! Thanks for the info!

There are two types of vitas, one that requires wifi and one that let's you use a data plan with AT&T. Only thing is I didn't get the one that let's me use 3g or 4g, which ever it is, nor did I wanna play for it (besides the fact if I really wanted to, I can make my phone into a Hotspot) so Im not really sure the deal with it is or how well it works over 3g or 4g...it worked well on my phone Hotspot though when I used it a couple times...

I reas, and kinda agree with, that of there are no games that interest you on the vita, you may not really enjoy it much because you aren't using it to your full potential. I kinda got a refurbished vita for free, $150, due to reward points I had saved up on my credit cards from the past 3 years, and even now I still kinda have some remorse because i was kinds saving that money for emergencies, and it was definitely an impulse buy.

I'd highly suggest it to you if you travel a lot, if the tv in your house is constantly being used by other family members, or if you aren't really home and would like to play on yous break (like work, for example )

    Not problem!

Just remembee, the r2, r3, l2, l3 is only useful using the touch screen back of the vita, I have yet to see an accessory to attach the the vita to make this easier, but for now, it takes some time to get used to lol
