These are just pictures from my last 2 nights in IC (i have only played 2 nights). My nights are off peak times and before any US players actually wake up. I can only imagine what its like in prime time as a solo player....

Cmon ZOS, you need to implement random respawns to forceably spread players out. Otherwise these clumps just get bigger and bigger in the same district. Spawning people in a random district will not only stop the large groups (unless they run back/go to base and then back up the ladder which can take some time with the load screen times) but it will make rezzing a vital part of the districts coz right now there is no reason to rez. It will also fill out all the districts because from what i have experienced, only memorial is popular.

Also this gives you some sort of objective if you die, because you cant just spawn on top of the player who killed you with full resources and just jump down and kill them to get your TV back (does this not sound like forward camps to you which were removed because of large player groups/no penalty for death). If you want you stones back, you need to remember the player and hunt them down. Its like a minigame (Y)

    i dont mind it being fast paced, i do mind it being 10v1 and me losing all ma stones..... That was the only solution i can come up with for dealing with the balls of bads.

    sure 10 isnt large but these groups just get bigger and bigger and when its 10v1s you get over it pretty quickly.

    This is not an issue. It fluctuates pretty quickly... one faction might be owning a certain district for a while, and your faction might be owning another. If you're getting overrun, go back to the sewers and try a different district/area in IC.

    I experienced this last night in the Temple district - EP was totally outnumbered and it was just a gank fest. Went to another area where it was the reverse. Came back to the Temple later and it was more evened out.

    It's actually an interesting dynamic when you consider that each faction cane make an effort to "claim" a district if they want to. There's nothing forcing you to stay there and it's very unlikely that one faction would have a strong presence in all districts.

    If you really need to be in that area, they band together with your guild or put together a party and do your best to take down the opposition. That's what it's all about.

    Don't mistake organized guilds with pug zergs that randomly take in anyone form zone and grow. At least 2 of those pics are of guilds, one of which I was running with. I know exactly how many were in there.

    Forward camps were an issue because it made objectives nearly impossible to accomplish. I remember multi-hour fights over a single keep were the norm after a while. It was a LOT of fun in terms of getting to fight, but no good when you have to take a keep. Instant respawns are fantastic for IC, though, because the whole thing is an incredibly fast-paced brawl and there's no objectives to make it unfair. It's just for fighting as much as you can as often as you can!

    People spotted that before PTS, pointed that out and got shot down as carebear whining. As far as I am concerned, it is time to twist the knife.

    I think it will improve after the "newness" of IC wears off.

    Did you try one of the other campaigns and guest into it, OP?

    Keep in mind IC was designed with PvP as the key component ... not solo PvE.

    It will be the primary place to gain XP/CP grind for the next 6 months+. It is the only general v16 area and craglorn's v13 area is small.
