New player questions about Nightblade!

Hello everyone!

I am a newcomer here, waiting for the game to install and just doing some research to find out what's what. I know I want to make a Nightblade and it seems that this class has two options for playstyle, magica or stamina.

My question is what kind of differences can I expect gameplay-wise between a magica vs stamina nightblade? Im not wondering which one is better, just what each one plays like, maybe what weapons I can expect to use with them, and how you guys like them.

Also, I'm wondering, when someone says Stamina NB, does that mean that all your attribute points from leveling up go into stamina? Also is that true for Magica NB? I tend to equally distribute points when I play RPGs, but I'm not sure if that's actually necessary here.

Thanks for the help everyone and I can't wait to get started!

stamina nightblade focus putting attribute points into stamina . ( dont forget your health either )

    same as magicka nightblades.

stamina nightblades have some nice skills, and mostly use weapon skills ( that use stamina to cast) on the bar

magicka nightblades are a little bit more slippery .

all class skills use magicka , all weapon skills use stamina if that helps you.

there are also fighters guild line that uses stamina , and then the mages guild line that uses magicka. lots of options.

i personally play a magicka nightblade and i like it alot.

also , sorry went downstairs for coffee and forgot what i read lol.

stamina nightblade is kinda like your stealthy ninja. dual weild, bow classic. but you can use any weapon. find what suits you.

magicka nightblades to me feel like little blood mages, more caster range type. also highly stealthy .

    Wow, quick response thanks Avonna!

So I guess as a Stamina nightblade I would expect to be using mostly weapon skills over actual magic abilities correct?

Now, if I decide I want to try Stamina at some point down the line, what are my respec options in this game?

Also, what is combat like with the bow, or any ranged weapons for the matter? Haven't gotten in game yet but just wondering what the action is like.

Ok, so I've read a lot on this. As a Magicka nightblade is my damage going to rely on being in and attacking from stealth? Where as with a Stamina Nightblade stealth is a utility but damage isn't reliant on whether I can get into stealth or not?

Heads up I really like PvP, so probably going to get involved in that I'm wondering how the two playstyles perform differently in that aspect as well.

Thanks again for the responses guys!

Magicka NB is more of a utility build with little or no real burst dmg potential. Most run staff weapons (resto for healers, etc.).

Stamina NB is usually more burst dmg focused. Bow builds have popular, particularly with gankers. Burst dmg is achieved by criting from stealth.

Play for yourself, TEMPLARS and DKs are not to be sneezed at as well and should be considered.
