For example, capturing a elder scroll? How much AP does this reward?

I ran it back 3 times and noticed NONE. I suspect you have to have the particular quest related to the scroll active.

That's ridiculous. They need to revamp the AP system. People getting over 250K AP within 2 days is absolutely absurd.

just FYI: I ported my character to ps4 for the lul factor and played it one whole day... 60-70k ap per hour.

Actually we had less than 3 months. The champion system came out late March and console came out sometime in June. That doesn't mean many of us didn't have 300+ cp when we transferred but if we had a year people would have1500 cp by nowif they transferred.
And to op. The only time you get ap is for killing players, turning in alliance war quests like kill enemy players, and getting keep and resource ticks for successfully capturing or defending.

250k in 2 days? I was easily earning 100-150k solo/smallman (up to 4-5 ppl) in 2-3 hour sessions.

You get 0 AP for capturing a scroll. However, you still get AP from all the enemies you kill while in the process of doing so.

On a good day, me running solo (no group members) on a full population campaign will get me 30-50k AP per hour. Some guild groups that zerg and crush everything in their path can make 100k AP per hour.

I consider the pvp action to be "good" if I average close to 40k/hour.

Why do console players think that PC players have 600+ cp, and new PC players think that high-ranked pvpers have 600+ cp?
Only few ppl have 600+, most have about 400 and lots of ppl even less. So stop making up exuses, you are losing becasue of you not becasuse of 'millions' of cps of your opponents.

You only get AP for killing peeps. So unless you're an exploiting minmaxer, you'll get nothing. And now, with 1.7, they'll steal your Tel var stones and complain that it took too long to kill you.

Haha. I'm certainly trying. It's just everything I learn tells me the average person doesn't stand a ghost of a chance, and the elites' only complaint is that they can't wipe noobs nearly as quickly as they used to.

The gaps and the amount you earn will get wider in the next few months, once people learn the loops and you do, will wonder why people think two days at that amount is slow paced

Calm down there buddy. Regardless if it were 1 year or 3 months thats still an advantage... 3 Months you could easily have 300-400+ CPs. That's a pretty hefty gap against players who have had the game maybe 4 months going against players that ported from PC now at 7+ months of the Champion Point system being in effect. It's not rocket science.
& No one was making up excuses in this post. I couldn't give two shakes of a rat's ass about this particular topic. That's not what I came on here to discuss. This has now went completely off topic. Also, Hooked on Phonics works fairly well. You should give it a try. I understand though, you were probably raging at the keyboard typing that up because you obviously didn't read through everything.

I find it odd there is nothing for doing anything with a scroll, no achievements for, carrying, placing, defending, no AP, XP, not even a pat on the back LOL You would think that since the game is Elder Scrolls doing something with an Elder Scroll might have something attached to it, I know your faction gets a buff and all that but just seemed odd to me nothing else.

There is an achievement for running a scroll and the quests at 750 ap each, about the amount of a good solo kill. The reason ap are awarded primarily for killing people is with almost certainty the experience gathered from other MMOs with similar game modes. In Warhammer and GW2 in particular you get more rewards for capturing objectives, so huge trains of the involved factions would form going in circles around the map alternatingly capturing objectives and avoiding pvp because fighting would actually lower the reward gain rate.

Personally I feel ZOS went a little too far in the opposite direction. People farming at the outpost opposite to their base ( i.e. bleaker's for AD, etc ) contributing jack s*** to the campaign get ten times the ap/h of those actually caring about the objectives.

Still, it's one of the rare occasions ZOS showed some awareness at all regarding player behaviour observed in other games.
