What's the best race for stamina pvp DK?

I want a stamina DK. Maybe not going into pvp immediately, just to train the riding skill first.
So what's the best race (except imperial which I don't have) for that?
Can't remember those new racial passive change.
Nords' passives look very appealing now, but they don't have stamina recovery, guess that might be a problem.
Do wood elves still have the high 21% stam recovery? Are they easier to kill? Or how about khajit, since they have stam regen now. But that stealthy seems kind of a waste to Dk.
And what weapons are good for pvp? I saw most DK use shield. Do they use bow?

agree with @Johngo0036 Redguard make a strong candidate for PVP stamina user because of the +10% to max stamina pool directly increasing your damage constantly, with the nerf to damage you are unlikely to one shot people from stealth in pvp (so im lead to believe), so id say if you specifically want to pvp redguard are optimal at the moment.

for pvp DK will still want to make use of stealth

bow is a great pvp weapon,
Venom Arrow: interrupts casting and puts an enemy off balance and stuns for 3 seconds, combine this with "opportunist" from the champion points passives (10CP into mage>ritual) for +15% damage on the next attack, and "molten armaments" from the DK (+40% to heavy attacks) and the fact heavy attacks do more damage and knock down off balance enemies. You have a nice little combo right there to get a really hard hitting heavy attack. And you can further buff bow heavy attacks with CP

Magnum shot: knocks the enemy back and your self back (i prefer this morph as you can use the effect on a CC immune target and they wont get knocked back but you will) so its great to create space and get away from the melee range

Lethal Arrorw hits hard and afflicts the enemy with a huge healing debuff (reduced healing by 40%)

bombard snares (slow by 40% iirc) and immobilizes an enemy for 2 seconds, but even better its a cone/directional AOE CC effect

also hasty retreat passive increase your run speed after dodge roll with bow equipped. it doesn't last long but is a nice way to create space before you pop your "getaway" skill like retreating maneuvers when things turn bad

Thank you guys. How do I assign those attribute points? All go to stamina? Would that make him easy to be killed? I meant in siege/group fight, DKs have to charge into executing zone. Or should I put some points into health also?
If I choose Nord, I could put all attribute points into stamina, he would still has 6% damage reduction, 30% health recovery and 9% max health. Would stamina still be a problem if i put all points into stamina?

Hey I would just like to share my stam dk build and it has worked out really effectively for some time.
    Skills
Sword and sheild - piercing armor, envasion, defensive posture, unstable flame , burning embers / ferocious leap
Bow - Green Dragons blood, igneous sheild, elusive mist, poison injection, magnum shot / any ultimate
So first of let's start with my sword and sheild . I did play with 2h and I loved it but I love the survivability and sustain of the sword and sheild . I chose piercing armor because not only does it apply major facture but also reduces spell resistance ; chose this because Dk are good in small groups and if you run with a friend's who is magika based this can help them debuff a target. Also this ability with high weapon damage can do around 4-5 on a non critical and the cost is close the nothing. Next I have envasion and this is because I love the farther you are the longer the stun , while critical rush might do more damage I feel like envasion has more utility. As for defensive posture I felt like reflective scales was to high a cost for this build so I felt defensive posture was better also because it was cheaper and stamina based. As for the next 2 abilities these are great dots and very cheap. Now the ultimate I found most effective was ferocious leap because it is cheap and the damage sheild is just great , you will also get some resources back from battle roar even though it is magika based.
Bow- Now some people might not think that putting Green dragons blood on the back bar is a good idea but after playing with it there for a while I found it just as effective. I also chose green dragons blood over coagulation blood because Green dragons blood also has the stam regeneration , this does stack with stam regeneration drinks as well. Next is the igneous sheild and you can make a great combo out of this if you apply igneous sheild then green green dragons blood. This ability also helps with the fact that Dks are good in small groups because this sheild also apply to your allies. For this build I am a vampire but it is not necessary but I like the mobility that elusive mist gives you . As for the bow abilities poison injection is a great dot and damage dealer to low health targets and magnum shot is a good stun / combo ability with any gap closer.
Gear- I wear 5 hundings rage and I do this because it is a great set and the passive for medium armor agility gives me weapon damage for a 5 piece set or more so by doing this I am just maximizing my weapon damage. I also wear 3 shadow walker jewelry and 3 night silence 4 with sword and shelid. There are many other gear sets and skill you could possibly use but thus is what I prefer and what has been working so thanks for reading hope you liked it thanks ;)

@Mr-jo-handsome Nobody asked for any builds here...you even didn't try to answer the questions....start a new thread somewhere else

@thread I would take an Imperial, health + stamina unbeatable. With stats try till you your happy with it...20 in health and rest in stamina, would be a good starting point.

@Harasdar OP specifically said doesn't have imperial eddition.

@NPG - attribute points for PVP are not the same as PVE. so I cant give any useful advice but second hand untested knowledge, that being you should probably aim to have 15-18K health before entering cyrodil depending on your level or if you are playing 2.1 or 1.6 (console or pc). i cant be sure as with damage reductions, potions and food what is going to work, for you but start with this health value and put the rest into stamina hoping to be between 25k to +30k depending on level/gear, attributes are cheap to change or gear enchants instead if you need a bit more magicka or health.

there is no hard and fast. just experiment.

Damn...totally missed that point, just read the comments.

Think with the current patch I would take Orc then. 6% Stamina and health + more weapon damage (main source if damage if you are playing stamina) would make a great allrounder.

If you just want to play a pure Tank Nord is good too.

Redguard and Bosmer are good, but not better than those above.

    (All just my 2 cent)

Dark elf is good because you get 9% max magika and 6% max stamina and you need magika as your life line

honestly imperial is the best with the bonus 12% hp and 10% stam makes for a nice race for any stam based char if not having imperial id say redguard probably as the 2nd option

Makes no sence for me if you want to go stamina...Dunmer is best choice magika. But I allways like to learn something new...so why would you, @Mr-jo-handsome, roll a Dunmer over Orc/Nord on a stam DK build? Here I would allways take health over magika, as you allways need some amount of health. Having a health passive frees some state points/glyphs you don't have to put there, so more to put in your main resource stamina.

Sure you need some magika, maybe, but most of those skills don't scale with magika, Dragon blood for example will not heal more because of you have more magika. And if you have to use those "life line" constantly there is something totally wrong in your build or you lost controll of the current situation. So your base magika pool should be more than enought. And if you play the right way it should be filling itself by battle roar passive just in time before you need the magika.

(Again just my 2 cent :))

@Mr-jo-handsome The first thing was just because I really dislike if people are not answering question and unasked posting something complett different...your build isn't bad but just nobody asked...so I just mentioned that. If you like to show us your build it is allways OK ans each of us can learn something from that, but why not opening a new thread??? Discussing your build will not answer the openers question.

The second was really pure interest you mentioned Dunmer as a good race but didn't explain why, don't give any examples of those lifelines. So I mentioned you to explain your thoughts...I'm allways (!!!) interested in learning something new so I can improve my playstyle. So I hoped you would explain why you would roll a Dunmer over Orc/Nord...I'm still learning and my opions are far from beeing absolute. ;) But just saying "Dunmer are good" is not enough for me :)
@Harasdar why you dogging on me
Sorry felt like that...that wasn't my intension. :)

Nord DK is very underrated. Decrease all incoming damage by 6% (that's on top of the battle spirit buff in PvP which reduces incoming damage by 50% despite what others may say), 30% health regen bonus, and 9% increased health. I believe that's second highest health percentage pool. Nords are extremely tanky. Or if you want to last forever and still put out great dps, you'll hear it here first, Nord Stamina/Magicka Templar. People may not have realized it yet, but they are a beast in PvP. The great asset to having such great Health Racial Bonuses is that it gives you leeway to choose whichever path you want. Meaning, you don't have to feel obligated to go stamina or magicka because of racial passives. Nord passives with health allow the ability to focus your attribute points into one resource pool completely whether you decide to go magicka or stamina.
