how to advance the mages guild quest line?

Did the first one and Valaste always says she needs to start translating. ive done a crap load of other quests while waiting on her so i dont know what to do. Ive found a bunch of lorebooks and most of the ones for the guild (found a location guide) but the last few are north part of Auridon and everything is a higher level than me sooooooo im lost

The Loreboks that you have to find are they found by chance or does the game give u any exact locations

I use an addon called "Lorebooks". It will show them all on the map, and you can toggle off the ones you've already collected. If you're hunting books, it's a must have.
