Orc as an Dk, Stam or Magicka based?
Sup everyone,
I tried to wait a couple of days to see what will be available to play, but i cant wait, i have to play this game and figure out what to do with my *** race. I was playing with an orc as Dk stam dps, and i like it, but i searched some builds through google and found a world of more power and glory, i guess so. Dk Magicka. Reading those post/builds im wondering in change stam to magicka, but idk with it worth as an orc. I like to play in various styles so my focus is in DAMAGE, full dps.
With all buffs and food, im running about 2200 weapon power, my dps single target with rapid strikes is about 5-6k and 2hw not finisher is about 4-5k.
V8 with a regular set.
Then ppl's, what you should i do? Continues in the journey of stam based or change to magicka based?

PhatGrimReaper✭✭✭✭✭I have played an Orc DK since launch. I have played all roles with it and have to say that it is definitely best suited to tanking.
As far as DPS goes, magicka is far superior to Stam for a DK. Fully geared with Valkyn, Sun Silks, Cyro Light & Torug's I pull 13-16k DPS in trials with a good group (ele drain, high group DPS etc). These numbers aren't bad, but pale in comparison to the numbers pulled by DKs with more favourable race choices.
The changes to Swift Warrior are a step in the right direction, but I can't see that 4% increase to Melee Weapon damage bridging the gap between magicka & stam DK dps.
As far as I can tell, Dark Elf DK Fire Mage will still be the top dog for DK DPS in this update.
The short answer is, yes you can magicka DPS with an Orc DK, but it is unlikely that you will reach the top end numbers that other DKs do.Fat Grim Reaper - (m)Dragon Knight AR28

I also have an orc, Magicka base and was considering changing him to stamina,
I currently, pre last patch, could get 13 - 15k dps using magicka skills.
