Ugh, the queue

We have discussed raising population caps but aren't going to do so just yet as we are still monitoring server performance with the current caps.

I play on PC and PS4 and never had huge queues on PC but at peak times on Azura Star on PS4 it was around 100-200 all the time. At one point it was up around 400 each night so i just stopped playing PVP. It is back down again thankfully but I can't imagine what it will be like with Imperial City since consoles have a much larger player base.

I think we'd all much rather see more campaigns than higher pop caps. Just because it can lead to more zerging/lag.

yesterday when I tried to play ever campaign was full. It took an hour to get into a guest one and three to get into my home one at which point it was time to sleep

My eyes deceive me. Scourge just appeared in the campaign overview (EU). 30 days duration, standard scoring.

Ok so they add a new campaign the same as the 30 day one great
Oh no its going to cost 150000 alliance points to move so I am suck on the one I joined yesterday because I can't afford that, so I am now 308 in the queue just like everyone else who cant move. What complete moron thought that was a good idea.

Oh and my guest one also has a queue because yesterday I guested due to not being able to get into the home one. So I get to sit in two queues. Gah someone needs to get there act together.

Please make the new one require X keep ownership to access IC. Also, please add some PVP objectives to IC before it gets stale.

Fair enough, thanks. If we do see an increase in performance though and you ever consider bringing back forward camps (as promised but not yet delivered!) and increase in caps would be good because sometimes it can feel like all the fighting is in once place, which gets kind of boring fast.

Home timers have been reset for everyone, however free home reassignments have not been issued at this time. We will continue to monitor the population however and if we need to open more campaigns, home reassigns may be dished out at that time.

Also for anyone that saw Scourge listed; we tried to resurrect the old campaign but it was giving us some trouble. This is also the reason we reset everyone's home assignment timers.

For a lot of players, there is another big incentive in Azura: 5 Golds where you could only get 4 in the same timeframe but with higher effort on the 7-days.

Looking forward to todays updateabout Queue times.

We had guys trying to get in to Chilli to defend a massive onslaught of EP last night and they were waiting in excess of an hour.

Although I will say, once in, all the reports in general are very positive in terms of PVP Combat and how it's working since update. Some guys are bringing out their old pre-1.6 kit builds to test....

Last night, EST, pretty much all campaigns were locked for PC NA. Queue times were not that bad; 2 person queue for Thornblade and instant access to Trueflame. Wonder what it'll be like this weekend!

The arrow, which Zenimax has shot in its own knee is, all visitors of IC count for the Cyrodiil campaigns.
(But they are badly missed there and the queues are growing endless.)

The method of controlling the population in Cyrodiils war and pvp gets outnumbered by IC tho. But if Zenimax rise the max number until it locks up, we can overflow Cyrodiil to a horrible lag story.

So, what is needed:
Everybody entering IC must not be counted for Cyrodiil campaigns but with an extra population counter of IC in every campaign. If leaving IC, he will be counted for Cyrodiil again. (And if Cyrodiil is locked in that moment, he is teleported to his main city as usual. Same vice versa when entering IC.)

Just an idea.

Queue populations in the US realm has come down to less than a single Campaign's total population with the opening of Trueflame, so as of today the US realm is in a holding pattern until the weekend regarding new Campaigns.

In the EU however, we are discussing opening another campaign as the queues in that region are still quite high.

We knew that queues had the potential to spring back up with the release of IC, which is why we're watching closely and reacting as fast as we can. We want everyone to play in Cyrodiil\IC without spreading population too thin but at the same time want to keep battles going so IC doesn't become a single sided affair.
