IC - Noble District (Defend barricaded doors)

I only need to let this frustration out and know your ways of handling this rather annoying quest.

You basically have to defend several barricaded doors againts a couple waves of Daedra, while this quest would be simple enough in PvE-only, here you are obviously disturbed by zergs and gankers. So I've realized I could just stand nearby, stealthed, and let enemy players kill the Daedra. While that worked out fine for the first 2 doors, the Northern barricade is simply left alone, meaning that next to none player passes by to kill the Daedra. Doing it by myself means it takes me quite some time, meanwhile I get killed by other players.

I've spent a lot of time today just trying to find a group for this quest, or was just lurking around and trying to get it done. I died countless times and hearing the same NPC dialogue all over for numerous times is horrendous.
I gave up and hope that some day I shall find a group that might be around to do this quest.

But other than this one specific quest, the IC itself is awesome and I spent over 7 hours today playing it, collected around 2k TVS, completed a couple Sewer bosses and quests, only if it wasn't for this quest that many of my guildmates also find annoying as me.

So how did you handle the quest? Were you just lucky to find a group or did it some other way?

Today we make our stand. Today we take back the Ruby Throne, which is ours by ancient right and the blessings of the Divines.

I followed a group of players around and got invited in. I enjoyed it, even fighting off the enemy players. However, I got feared into the barricades on the third door and got stuck. For 10% of my TV stones I was able to use /stuck to get out. By then my group had completed the quest. My only gripe is that the reward is a lvl50 TV sack, which is bound, can't open on the sub vet character, and that I can't put in the bank. :/
