You're playing on NA or EU? I'm asking because "yesterday" was patch 2.1 on NA but 2.0 on EU. Afaik, 2.1 should have increased Craglorn XP instead of reducing it.

I'm on NA. And like I said, Craglorn XP was nicely increased yesterday. But something happened late last night or this morning... XP is much less now than it was immediately after the patch. Example: Anka Ra warriors in Lower Craglorn that gave almost 400 XP yesterday now give less than 200.
It's possible that something went wrong with my FTC plugin, so maybe it's not reporting the right numbers in the log.

Also my husband and I ran all around craglorn last night and the BEST XP we found was Skyreach Catacombs. Running that quest gave 100k xp per run around the little dungeon. If you dont complete it you can drop it leave and reenter. The mobs in there gave GREAT XP.
That's part of the global XP nerf side effect due to the increased veteran ranks. From v15 Lower Craglorn v11 mobs will start to drastically decrease in XP reward. On v16 it will be even worse.
Also, Craglorn mobs were never the best in XP value. v10 land mobs were better in the gold maps by far and the current 20% bonus does not help a lot with that. And if you want to go back to v10 grind you'll get the same disappointment - on v14 these mobs gave 310 XP, on v15 it drops to 124 XP (base values, without ESO plus or other bonuses). Good luck catching up with high ranked CP farmers! Only solo option to grind is in PvP now...
