Hi Eso players!

After a 2 month console I’ve decided to re-join the PC player-base and i was amazed... the LAG in Cyrodiil is CRAZY!
In this two months that i've played with the PS4 i've got problems only during peak hours and it was easy to avoid those. But yesterday (at the same time that i play on consoles and more or less with the same people on screen) i was unable to play and i've got disconnected every 2 minutes.

All this with the SAME connection.

At this point i'm wandering if leave definitely the PC version or not, what do you think? the Cyro situation as gone worst? you will recommend me to wait till the dlc (since some improvements are on the way)?

I'm confused since 2 and a half months ago i was able to play without problems even in "large" all alliance fights, since then the only difference is that i've upgraded my pc from a gtx 660 to a gtx 780 ti and i don’t believe it can be a problem...

I transferred from PC to PS4. Tho PS4 does have it's issues I don't see myself going back to PC full time. I still play PC here and there but on PS4 despite it's issues PvP just works unlike massive lag on PC.

PC and PS4 comparisons without providing your PC specs is pretty irrelevant. If you spent a few hundred dollars on a PC then the PS4 will likely be a better experience. If you spent a thousand or more on a PC, then it will blow the PS4 out of the water. The PC game world is all about what you put into it. The PS4 world is standardized, you will get what you get and no more, no less. I prefer PC as I make sure to get higher end components that allow me to reach a higher standard of game play.

Make sure you have the latest drivers downloaded for that new card.
I usually have grass turned off, shadows down and particles minimal.

I hear you, tho. I am cautiously hopeful that their new LOS calculations change and the campaign rule changes will help.
    I emphasize cautious.

If you're subbed, it won't cost you anything to try it, at least. If not, you might want to wait and hear how it goes.

so u prefer pc... where's the relation to the topic of this thread, and the lag, that seems to be occuring on the pc platform?

quite funny how most gamers feel the urge to write stuff like that as soon as their own platform is mentioned in a "bad" way(although this didnt even happen here, since the problem on pc is related to L A G).

why do u even care about that? everybody knows it. we dont need any platform wars anymore.

He was just pointing out it could be the system.. Not sure where you see this as a platform war.

Win 10 has some issues with the driver but since i've upgraded the pc i've boosted all the specs of the game (over 9000!)
it can be the issue, i might try to tone down a little bit the settings, you know i was running the witcher 3 on low at 35 fps and now with the new card i can go up to ultra @45 fps, so i was hoping that i could do the same even for eso, sadly is not the case.

The problem for me is not the sub but with the release of this DLC i need to choose, since i cannot buy it on both sistems.

No please don’t start a war... the point is that before i was able to play and now, not so much.
on a side note a 400€ PC is enough to blow the PS4.

Nah i live with the lag and i don’t blame no-body since i live in the middle of nothing... i'm lucky to have internet.

Somehow, the player-base is younger and without add-ons is very hard to get the meteor (major lag cause imho)

I hear you. A few years ago I was out in the country and we didn't have cable modem/DSL at all. Dial up, baby.

The ESO issue on PC has nothing to do with spec's, if you PvP at all then you know what im talking about.

    I have a I7 4770k, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD, GTX 970 and a 100MB connection. So spec's are not an issue.

    Wow.

I think lag on console would only get worse if text chat is ever added, making the zerg *** twice as large on console.

We need more stable servers. Imperial city will draw a ton more people into PvP, so things are about to get krazzzy.
