Post-Creation Character Edit

So uh... Is there still nothing implemented for fixing character creation mistakes, or making appearance/voice adjustments ?
Not even in the Crown Store ?
No save appearance option that would allow you to load previously created character appearance settings in the creator?

Would be a pretty cool thing to bring in though, expesh changing hairstyles/make up/tattoo's to suit armor better, like in the form of a potion of spell like re-skilling you toon.
Wouldn't mind even paying a few crowns for that either or for customisable gear from the crown store mainly being colors.

Yeah, I've been waiting for the option to change the appearance since.. ever, since I've created my first character.
She was parked in a bank from last December until recently, just because I had enough of the looks. But since she's now VR10 already, I can hardly delete her, but I'd love to adjust the one or the other thing, though.

I also would love to change the name, but that's another story which would involve the Support that refuses to do this unless the name is offensive. Well.. yeah.

Another character from last year I deleted at level 28 or something, because of the voice, it was the sheer horror.

I get what you mean with the name change, I made mine ans so wished for a redo.

Had a friend recently get asked to change both his account name/toon name from something like big dickus so his "real name". Lost it laughing when he logged online with "Little John" or something.

With the voices, I wish I could remove the choice altogether as my toon grunting kinda gives the neighbours a bad impression... XP

Yeah I forgot to set the voice on an Imperial princess-y chick, and course she ends up with Orc voice ! XP
I've even tried a few times to re-create her, but I can't seem to get the sliders right, so I'm stuck waiting for the developers to realize a major part of the draw to ESO is APPEARANCE ! There's a reason character skin mods were so popular in previous ES games...

We who made our character(s) at early access had this annoying "shadow bug", which basically covered all character creation . I must admit that I'm pretty happy with the results even if my first characters were done pretty much "blindfolded".

Sure there was this painful workaround for that bug... but ...yeah... that's history now

Still some sort of appearance customization should be no-brainer..like so many other small things still avoiding ESO

Hahaha! I actually remember seeing a toon with the name 'Big Dickus"! Too bad he had to change it. I had to change mine too once.Not allowed to say what it was,but it wasnt rude.It WAS a reference to WWII German Military though,..and that just wont fly with the powers that be..

I am sure we will have this in the crown store. My only concern is the cost. If I changed a race I would want to change the name as well I could change my main character into a decent race and then recreate my main just for level 1 - 50 PvE for fun. Waiting to be able to change my Argonian's into races with actual decent racials however I don't want to be spending thousands of crowns on this.

They are working on it, that's all we know at this point.

And yes, it indeed is sorely desired by a lot of the players...

I know I have several characters I wish to make small adjustments to, fix things... you know how it is...
...a hip shape here, where a shape that looked all right in the chargen window doesn't look so stellar when in motion...
...a hand shape there, where I forgot to move a slider, resulting in skinny hands on muscled arms...
...a voice change here, where a delicate elf shoulds like a gruff orc brawler...
...a namechange there, where I used one of my usual character names, sort of forgetting I usually play elves and now my orc sounds like she was raised by elves, and I would really prefer to use a more lore-conform orcish sounding name instead...

I am of course still hoping they might not do it with a pricey token to re-enter chargen, but add a small cost per slider moved to a running total, to be paid when satisfied. Would make revisiting the recustomization screen for additional changes until everything is just perfect all that much easier... and make people more likely to use the feature over and over again, possibly resulting in more profit in the long run then one high admission price.
And yes, race change would fit well with this, as anyone who'd change their character race likely would want to rework their appereance as well instead of, say, using the same slider settings they had as bosmer with their new khajiit...

On the topic of adjustments I'd love to change one of my character's voice options. The voice choice selector at character creation is also highly too random. I really wish it would cycle through all the different voice sounds one by one, rather than giving you random samplings.
