I have joined the ESO subscription service! *fanfare*

So I was wondering what this means for the IC DLC. Do you need to be a member for 'x' months before you get it for free or do I need to use my monthly crowns to purchase it? What other benefits are there?

I bought the new Noble outfit (female) first. Next month I'll go for the Daedric Motif - Which reminds me, even if I buy it on the Crown Store do I need to have a certain rank in blacksmithing before I can use it?

no as soon as you have eso+ you have access to dlc benefits are 10% bonus xp and ofc 1500 crowns monthly but tbh I think best thig is the dlc content because you can try them and see if you like it haha. also there used to be a loyalty program but it has been either suspended or something. I see posts wanting to bring it back so who knows haha

For the entire time that you are subscribed you get access to all DLC. So when it launches on Monday you'll have access. If and when you are no longer a subscriber, you will no longer have access. If you choose to do so, you can outright buy the DLC using crowns, and then even if you stop subscribing you'll still have access.

The other benefits to subscribing are a +10% bonus on XP, gold drops, and reduction in trait research time (the 10% reduction in trait research time is the biggest of those as far as I'm concerned, but YMMV). Oh and the crowns you get with the sub, but you knew that already.

No idea if you have to have a certain rank for the crown store motif though. The regular one you find in-game has a minimum rank, I just don't know if the crown store one does.

You have instant access to all released DLC. Keep in mind you are 'renting' the DLC as a subscriber. You unsubscribe you lose access. Some people sub for the 10% to xp/inspiration/gold bonus and save up crowns to actually buy the DLC for if they want to unsub later.

As far as crafting motifs go, you can use Daedric at any level as motif styles are purely cosmetic, but you will need the crafting component (Daedric Hearts for Daedric) which can be hard to find or expensive and you can only craft to the level that your Blacksmithing allows.

As long as you are subbed you get IC access. If you sub expires you will lose access when it expires.

The crowns can be used for anything. You could sub for a couple months cancel your sub and buy IC with the crowns if you wanted.

Not sure about the motif.

Other benefits are mainly everything is 10% quicker. On your character tab under the buffs section you will see 'eso plus' and it will list bonuses.
