Ok so I installed windows 10 today and then installed Elder Scrolls Online and Skyforge on it. First, my system:

Asus Maximus VII Hero Z97
Intel i7 4790K@4.8 GHz
Corsair H80i Liquid CPU Cooler
16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 2400 Memory
2xMSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G SLI
Samsung 840 EVO 1TB SSD
Corsair ax860i Power Supply
Asus BD-RW/DVD-RW
Corsair 230T Case
4xCorsair 120 MM Case fan
2x front, 1x bottom push up, 1x top push out
Asus 27" ROG Swift QHD Gsync 3D monitor
Logitech G710+ mechanical keyboard
Logitech G502 Mouse

Firestrike Extreme score Windows 7 Pro: 8828 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970(2x) and Intel Core i7-4790K

Firestrike Extreme score Windows 10 Pro: 9038 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970(2x) and Intel Core i7-4790K

A surprising result of the benchmarks is that my system, especially my overclocked cpu ran cooler during the benchmark on Windows 10 than Windows 7 about 2-4 degrees cooler.

A brief Windows 10 Pro install guide:
  1. Download windows 10 drivers for your hardware and copy them to a usb stick.
  2. I did a clean install, wiped the drive clean.
  3. ***WARNING*** Windows 10 will update your drivers whether you like it or not.
  4. Unplug your system from the internet for the initial install to prevent unwanted driver updates.
  5. Before you connect Windows 10 to the internet, go to System > Hardware tab > Advanced Settings and disable automatic driver updates..
  6. Disable automatic driver updates in windows 10
  7. Install all of the device drivers you downloaded. I mistakenly installed an old chipset driver on the first try and I had to start over again.
  8. You may want to download and install Directx from Microsoft to save time.
  9. Install ESO (or other games) and have fun!

Windows 10 boots faster on my system and seems faster and smoother overall than windows 7. I installed ESO and no issues so far. ESO seems faster on windows 10. I seem to be getting about +2 to 4 or 5 fps in ESO on Windows 10. Windows 10 does have some optimizations to improve gaming performance. I don't know if ESO is using Directx 12. ESO looks great on Windows 10. The NVidia driver for windows 10 works great. SLI works just fine on windows 10 with ESO. ESO seems to look better on Windows 10 but that is a highly subjective statement.

Edit: You may want to re-enable automatic driver updates for Windows 10 devices if you cant find a driver for a particular device. I did that, it found a driver for a network printer.

WARNING: PLANETSIDE 2 SEEMS TO BE HAVING ISSUES WITH WINDOWS 10. I AM EXPERIENCING SEVERE UI FLICKER IN PS2 ON WINDOWS 10.
