4 hours and nothing besides I bet even if it did work I would just get kicked because the only ones really doing them are vets and I bet very few want to help a low level get through a dungeon as a result I gave up on them period...

While I've used it, it doesn't work well. LFG spam is much more effective to get into a group quickly, both when queuing for tank and for dps. I've gone whole nights in lfg queue getting no where.

I don't use it because either A) it doesn't work or nobody else uses it. I tried again today to find a group for Spindle (Lv 15) and never found a group.

On console it is absolutely terrible and useless. I learned that the hard way after about 20 attempts. You're lucky enough to even get in a group that doesn't leave, and knows what dungeon we've been put in for since the name pops up at the top right corner of your screen in basic white text for a second or two. If you manage to get in the dungeon, yet again you'll need to have some luck because there are a lot of clueless players who don't know what role they are, so you mostly end up with a Sorcerer tank or something ridiculous.

Also, let's not forget about the fact that people barely use voice comms, and even if they do, they're speaking languages you may not understand, and vice versa.

I believe that when/if we get text chat, it'll be easier to find the right kind of players and make things x10 smoother because it works on other games like WoW, even in groups of 20-40, so it can & should work on ESO. People make the argument that having text chat in-game on consoles would complicate things, but it won't -- it's already complicated enough to open PS messages and lag-type to each other while you're completely unaware of what is going on in the game.

It's somewhat successful. I queue as a healer and it takes anywhere between 30 mins and and hour to get a group. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're a waste of time, it's hit and miss.

I'm sure more people would use it if they made some simple changes. Teleport straight to the dungeon, give the whole group the ability to kick a group member, don't disband the group if the leader drops and not create a group of 3 players.

Also, despite the ability to play any role as any class, there needs to be something that forces a role. There's too many squishy DPS queing as tanks to get groups quicker, but end up being squishy and getting themselves, (and the rest of the group) squished.

I'm on PS4 and have given up on finding groups. When I see people having to offer gold just to fill roles, I don't even want to bother with it.

I use it, but it never finds me the dungeon that I'm looking to do. It has too many restrictions on it, and nobody else uses it, so you tend to get screwed.

If I could queue for several dungeons at once (say, any that I still need to do while leveling), it would probably work better. But instead, I have to choose just one out of nine, and that's never going to get me a group.

Why would I use the grouping tool when it just spins and spins and spins and never finds anything. Plus I can't do anything else, while it spins doing nothing. At least with chat I can do other things while assembling a group.

I saw a vr14 tank charging 8k to run dungeons with people the other day. I was shocked. I tried to legitimize that in my head for a while. Personally, I could never charge for helping other players. I stood around the Undaunted camp, trying to find a group, listening to him for a while then logged off and mowed my lawn. True story.

I've successfully used it maybe 20 times since launch. I've only used it maybe 4 times successfully since B2P, and 1 of those times I ended up with a group that wanted to do a completely different dungeon. I bailed on them since I had limited time and I didn't want to repeat a dungeon. I wanted a akill point.

He was offering to go through the daily dungeon for 8k. He made his offer to groups looking for vet as well as those looking for non-vet. I got the distinct impression 8k would buy you 1 run.

I didn't see anyone take his offer but I only hung out for about 10-15 minutes before I logged. There were a couple other VR14 guys that talked to him during that time about his armor. They wee looking for a DPS and he was explaining to them how he could tank and do damage because he had a set that dropped meteor every few seconds when he used Ash Cloud on the mobs. I got the impression that he had done this before and the other VR14s didn't seem bothered by it so I figured it must be a thing. PS4-DC-NA

I use the group finder daily and queue as a healer. Wait times normally only take 10-15 min for me but it can vary depending on the time of day. I've had a lot of success with the group finder tool. pS4 EU server.

Shush. You've always claimed this. We have the entire internet saying it doesn't work for them.
I continue to try to no avail. I just ask in zone chat to get my daily pledge completed. Once I've done it, I hop into a queue and wait. And wait. And wait. Nothing. I've only had ONE successful grouping and it was a partial group. After a few minutes of us trying to get a 4th, a person dropped group. I don't blame them.

Screw rewards. I just love running dungeons. If the LFG tool worked, I'd log on and live in dungeons.

PS on the NA server in the DC faction.
