Increased weapon damage from the master's bow

Does this increase of weapon damage against poison injected targets maintain if you swap to a 2H sword afterwards? Or is it only while that bow is out?

I'm pretty sure it's for the duration of the Poison Arrow. It say's while effected by your Poison Arrow abilities. Once you hit someone with Poison Arrow you will get a unknown buff in your character log called Poison something (you will know when you see it).

So i'm pretty sure you can weapon swap, however you wont get the 1k stamina bonus unless you have your bow out.

Well that's good to know. Are there any Visuals on the affected target by any chance?

Your arm's glow all poison like, not sure if the target get's any visual's though.

Doesn't poison arrow have a effected animation? Like a poison cloud.

So.. what happens if you don't have any ability called "Poison Arrow?"
Do you refer to for example Poison Injection?

The weapon damage increase only occurs after you hit your opponent with the first bow. Also the weapon damage does not carry over to your sword bar.

I already tested this a long time ago and it didn't. This is on the PS4 mind you. If it's working fine on PC then cool beans but I've already had someone let me kill them to see if the weapon damage carried over, and it did not.

In PvP. First I killed a guy by spamming surprise attack, then I poison injected him with my master bow first and then spammed surprise attack. There was no difference in damage on the death recap.

That is a very interesting and creative way to test things nice xD. Tho prolly the only way because of no addons. I have not tested this since Imperial City hit the road because it is v14 only..

Yet usually (like Maelstrom Bow) the Effect still works even tho you swap bars. But they might ofc have changed it on Master bow...I will test this once we get a v16 version of the bow.
