I know armor does not matter, but what about passive points? like from skills and stuff.

zornyan✭✭✭✭✭Passives count, like say 12% damage from medium armour and 10% to hp would count. So although wearing a certain type of armour won't help.much, the passives from it will help massively.
Also traits such as piercing work, and item set bonuses (like hundings rage or whitestrakes)
