I'm not actually sure if I'm supposed to post this, but saw these two classic Elder Scrolls game become available digitally for the first time ever. It's pretty good to see them finally, considering they've been next to impossible to acquire, including being left out of the recent anthology collection.
Redguard specifically is the ES game with the closest time period to ESO, taking place just a few hundred years after this game. It also takes place on Stros M'Kai, so you'll get to see some familiar (and unfamiliar) locations, including a slightly different statue of Frandar Hunding in Port Hunding. Also there's a (gasp) dragon! (but I thought all dragons were gone during this time period...)
Anyway, thought that was cool and maybe worth knowing.

✭✭✭✭✭Oh man, I'm going to have to get these. I know that Redguard is far from the norm for an Elder Scrolls game (I don't think you can even customize your character in any way), but ESO has kind of made me fall in love with Stros M'Kai (it might be my favorite zone), so I really want to see how it's portrayed in Redguard.

**** YEAH, love those games but they are hard to come by without illegal methods these days, going to get them for sure
Battlespire is awesome, just to begin, it takes place in the Imperial Battlespire, a **** academy and space-station used to train battlemages, it was supposed to be an expansion for TES 2 Daggerfall but was released later as a separated game.
Also stros m'kai in redguard is very similar to ESO version, ESO just miss a few things that are supposed to be there in it's timeline, the game is an action game with no customizable character but the story is awesome, taking place during the Tiber wars just after the end of the Interregnum

✭I remember reading up on Redguard recently, there was supposed to be a sequel, called the Eye of Argonia, that would have taken place in Black Marsh playing as Cyrus again, but didn't make it. There would have been a sequel to that called Paradise Sugar (or something like that), which woulda taken place in Elsweyr and you would have played as various members of S'rathra's family, all of whom are different forms of Khajiit.
Good to know Redguard and Battlespire are obtainable though, I never thought to check if they were, but I was always planning on playing them sometime in the future, so it's nice to know that's actually possible now.0 -
