Favorite crafted sets?

Angelofdeath190
What crafted sets are your favorite and least favorite?

Most would me seducer, torug's pact and hundling's rage.
Least would be oblivious foe, orgnum's scales and shalidor's curse

Using Hundings and Lamae's Song on two toons right now, working pretty well at VR3. Got them for about 1k/pc from guild traders since I don't craft armor.

Hunding's and Alessia's (for tanks). I do have a fondness for Vampire's Kiss, even if it doesn't work quite right.

Least favorite would probably be Hist Bark. I don't know why, I just do not like it.

I run Night's Silence on my main whom is a Nightblade and love the crap out of it :)

Least favorite... Hard to say but if you're talking about the 5-piece bonus alone I would have to say it is whichever bonus doesn't work right or at all because it is broken. No bigger disappointment than that...

Most Used: Alessia's Bulwark, Hunding's Rage, and Night's Silence (RUN IN STEALTH? YES, PLEASE!)

Favorite: Vampire's Kiss. It's visuals really are neat and it took me from 40-VR5. Ashen Grip (I do like randomly spitting fire, especially at low levels).

Growing to Like: Whitestrake's, Night Mother, Willow's Path

Most Disappointing? Shalidor's Curse. Twice Born Star.

I just really like crafting. :D

For tanking Hist Bark is the one. Avoid getting hit (basically) 1 out of 5 hits? Ridiculously good.

If they bring in the no stamina regen thing whilst blocking, this is the set every tank should be running.

It's the best now, might be the only choice if said changes go ahead.

I have made hundreds of Hunding+Ashen for stamina levelers and Seducer/Magnus+Torugs for magicka levelers. Tanks use Hist or Alessian. Then constant stream for vr14: Hunding, Seducer, Torugs, Hist, Whitestrake, Twice Born. Occasionally Night Silence, Mara, Ashen.

I wonder how many are going to be disappointed with their previous favorite sets when they see the nerfs and changes that hit them when 1.7 goes live? Although, I am looking forward to the changes coming to Willow's Path and Night Mother's Gaze.

    Current favorites: (NB): Night's Silence/Hunding's Rage. (Sorc) Willow's Path/Seducer

Although, for my NB, once I get my Vampire skills to level 10 and get the faster stealth passive, I'll be dropping Night's Silence in favor of Hunding's Rage/Night Mother's Gaze. NMG set is being changed with 1.7, dropping the current 'Spell Critical' in favor of 'Weapon Damage'.

Seducer and Magnus are my go-to sets for magicka-heavy builds. Hunding's Rage and Ashen Grip are my go-to for stamina-heavy builds. Hist Bark is my main set for tanking. I toy with various other sets from time to time - for low level characters trying to do higher level content Orgnum's Scales combined with Shalidor's Curse go a long way towards increasing survivability, but I don't really like them so much on higher level characters.

Seducer and the new Song of Lamae; the two-piece gives spell resistance, the three-piece gives armor and the four-piece gives max health whilst the five-piece is the same.

Magic: Seducer for Pure sustain, Magnus for Sustain with a little spell damage, Torugs for a really handy 2 piece spell damage bonus (shame there is not a stamina couterpart). I am a big fan of 4 piece Magnus for a lot of magic builds.

Stamina: Hundings for the crit and big 5 piece damage bonus, Ashen Grip for a 3 piece Weapon damage bonus (shame that the 2 piece bonus is health, but I guess it could be worse).

Tanking: Hist Bark for the dodge chance while blocking.

There are some others with situational uses, but these are definitely the most valuable. I have been a 9-trait crafter across the board for a while. It is very rare when I am asked to craft a set not mentioned above.

Forestd16b14_ESO mentioned a nerf to damage shield. What is that?

Notwithstanding the response- Whitestrake's Retribution is the best for a tank with the ~10% damage shield every 15 secs. Spell resist is harder to find than the armor offered by Hist Bark, and with the new 33% tax on rolling and the change to penalize continuous blocking the 5th buff is not as good on Hist Bark.
