Question on "Increases Mundus Stone Effect"

Hi,

Dumb question maybe, but I put trait Divines to an armor (the trait that says "Increases Mundus Stone Effect 6.5%"), but when I wear that armor only 10 points are increased to my weapon damage.

I use The Warrior mundus stone and this character of mine has close to 2k of weapon damage

Same thing happens to my gf; that 6.5% increases only 10 points to her weapon damage.

Any ideas?

A divines piece doesn't increase your overall weapon damage. It just increases the 5% you get from the mundus by 6.5 (which basically increases your mundus effect from 5% to 5.32%)

A little off topic but say for max stam pool is it better to use + enchant trait (infused maybe) or divines?

    Say blue quality enchants

That means it's worthless to put more than one Divines trait to more than one armor piece? I mean, it's worthless to put Divines trait to your helmet and Divines also to your Cuirass, right?

Basically, what the guy above me said. But here are some examples:

Mundus Stone gives 5% crit chance - with one 6.5% Divines piece, that goes up to (5 * 1.065 = 5.325%) crit chance.

100 Weapon damage would go up to 106.5 with the same piece.

With four pieces of Divines at 6.5%, you would gain 126 weapon damage total from the Warrior stone.

Each piece of divines increases the effect. I think it's multiplicative. So, the overall bonus from a mundus should be 5*1.065^n, where n is the number of divine pieces.

    For Example: 5 pieces, each 6.5% => 5*1.065^5 = 6.85% mundus bonus

Side note: Divine trait is usually not applied to large items (head, chest, legs)

I agree with @Aett_Thorn the divines are additive not multiplicate.

Thank you all for your responses. Kind of useless then (at least that's what I understand from reading your explanations) to usee Divines in all pieces since what you increase is not much. Better to put other traits in some of the items, mostly to large ones.

I think that most of the min-maxers, if they were going to do something like this, put Infused on the main pieces (chest, head, legs) and Divines on the others. This is because the Divines effect does not depend on the "size" of the armor pieces, but Infused does, because the enchantments themselves do.

Hmm, might have give the big piece-infusion small-divines thing a try. Never bothered with divines before.

I see what you mean now because say if I have 1455 magicka recovery and take off a shield that has divines trait, 7.5% mundus stone effect, it puts my magicka recovery down to like 1432 or something like that, so it's a tiny difference... Looks like I won't be using divine traits anymore. :expressionless:

Pretty sure divines adds, it's just that mundus effect aren't that high, though with 4-5 divines are legendary thats almost a 40% increase.

I use magicka regen and my total divines adds about 70 or so regen.
