Higher the level, lower the power

I love this game. I plan on playing for a long while. However, I've played mmo's since ultima days. Lots of them. This is the first one I feel like I need to stop leveling halfway to enjoy the game how I like to play. What's up with that? I like to pvp mostly.

Non vet PVP campaigns work on a fallacy that level 49 is somehow powerful. This is farthest from the truth. The gear attainable at V14 and the champion point system makes this so. Yes, it sucks to be 'stripped' of your power, but you never actually had any in the first place, since the end game doesn't start until VR cap.

I hear you. I guess I just mean, I've thoroughly enjoyed the game 10-49. I don't want to level any more because this is the game I enjoy, right now. My incentive to continue leveling from 10 while piping, was to get more skills and passives. Now I have them all. That's all I want. Just want to enjoy them now.

What is the way you like to play? Fluffed up stats and owning low lvls? Because cyrodil in vet campaigns is the same as noob campaigns only the people you play against arent swinging lvl 20 swords.

Im not sure about the point of your post other than to complain about vr levels and/or CP.

I'm not complaining at all. And I'm not sure why you would think that I like killing weaker players when I said that I like how it is in black water, where everyone is basically equal. My point is, what is the point in continuing leveling, when everything is fun now, and this is the reason I play?

VR levels do give you more attribute points and the higher level gear gives you higher stats.

BwB is like a tutorial on PVP so once you get into the vet campaigns you arent completely lost. getting to level 49 is only half of the game and I would say that once you get to vr14 everyone is equal too the only difference is CP (which is in BwB also). CP points have a cap & diminishing returns too (even though its a crazy amount) and eventually people will reach a point where the gap wont matter much. In MMORPG terms this game is relatively new so yes some people have a crazy lead now but that wont matter once a majority of the population play for a while. (dont think CP would even be a problem at all if they didnt allow PC transfers to conoles)

You are booted out of BwB @ v1 because you should have enough PVP experience to be able to function in a vet campaign.Kind of like leaving the minor leagues in baseball and joining the majors. More than likely you wont be the king of cyrodil but you have the ability to progress just like every other v14 did.

Basically my point is to why you should continue leveling is because you have not really played ESO pvp. You have been in the ESO minor leagues.

Aren't they increasing battle leveling to vr12 or something with IC patch anyways?
