If I have a motif from the crown store can I craft armor and give it to my guild mates?

I have not purchased a motif from the crown store yet but I have ESO plus (because I believe in funding this game beyond purchase) so I'll probably buy one eventually. My question is basically are crafted items made from bound motifs account bound as well?

So basically can I buy a deadric motif from the crown store and make a guild mate daedric armor and weapons?

I have heard no...
I have heard yes but only if you don't equip it because it is only after equipping a bound item that it actually becomes bound.
I am confused.

The crafted items are bind on equip. You will be able to craft them and email / trade them, as long as you have not equipped them yourself.

All crafted items are bind on equip - so just don't equip them so you can trade/email then.

The only difference is the ability to give any item the imperial look (from the imperial add-on, not the imperial motif book). If you use that ability the item is automatically bound to you. At least that is what I have been told.

It is bound, to your account. So you can convert the item on your Imperial, then send it to an Alt on your account for them to wear.

Note, not everything that is part of a dropped set can be converted to Imperial, so keep that in mind. Crafted sets and non set loot do not have this issue.

Any race can convert equipped gear to imperial style, if you bought the imperial edition of the base game.
Don't need an imperial to make and send.

Keep in mind that you will need the trait stones in order to craft them. If you don't have a veteran level character with access to the Silver/Gold Cadwell zones, then you will have to purchase them from other players or hope for a rare drop from your hirelings or in heavy sacks/wet gunny sacks.

EDIT: Also, pre-vet, you may find pieces of gear in these styles to deconstruct for a chance at the racial stone. I found quite a bit of Argentum this way from zones 4/5 in EP, and a few Daedra Hearts from Coldharbour.

Copper and Argentum (for Barbaric and Primal) start dropping in Cadwell's Silver zones (v1-5)

Daedra Hearts and Palladium (for Daedric and Ancient Elf) start dropping in Cadwell's Gold zones (v6-10)

I have not seen any drop in Craglorn, but perhaps someone else can confirm this.

The purple motifs also have restrictions concerning skill. You have to be max rank in at least one craft (clothier, woodworking, blacksmithing) in order to even learn certain motifs.

Out of the full 9 points, Primal needs 6, Barbaric needs 7, Ancient Elves need 8, and Daedric and Dwemer need the full 9.

That is true for the ones you find in game, but there is no such restriction for those purchased in the Crown Store. They can all be used at Rank 1.
