So im vet 10 on the PS4 and I have always dabbled in PvP, but once I hit vet I kinda got away from it and mainly did PvE. Well with IC coming up I figured it would probably be a good idea to get good at vet level PvP... well needless to say its a lot harder than I thought, and is going to require me to relearn my character and what moves are effective. right now I am running 5 piece hundigs rage and a 2 piece abysall maw dungeon set, I know my gear isn't really good for pvp, but I still feel like I should be more effective than I am. I am double dagger DW and bow build. I sit at about 70-80% crit depending on our PvP buffs with over 2.2k wep buffed. I try to open up most fights with a stealth ambush, then a vanish sneak attack to reduce their armor. I feel like with my stats this should be doing over 50% of their health but is maybe 30% on a good day. now this is typically where I get absolutely crushed (lol). if its a fellow NB I win sometimes, no complaints here, but if its a DK then I prolly only did 10% of his hp in first attack and he just out tanks and kills me. my only real problem is with mages. I attack, kinda hurt their bubbles, then they tele away and I get hit with 15k crystal frags then 12k ice meteor. its frustrating cuz I have to plan out an attack and wait to maybe do 30% of someones hp, and mages can breath on me and I die in one hit. any tips for fighting mages as a NB? do I just need to not do pvp till I get nirnhoned gear? what gives lol?
