What's the better choice for a Trials healer and why?

Yes, I know a lot of people want Nova, but some raid leaders ask for barrier... Not looking for a debate on which is the better mit option

Replenishing is usually preferred because it returns ultimate which leads to more barriers or a nova

I haven't heard of a trial group that is still using the barrier. most healers use nova or the war horn, since you can easily heal through the damage that most of the bosses do in trials.

in 1.5 I used barrier to be able to survive the stomp even when people where sometimes forgetting to block the stomp of the Mantikora. I believed I used the one that gave me some ultimate back.

If you were to choose one I would choose for the one that gives you some ultimate back, so you are able to cast it quicker.

To the point of groups using Barrier 'vs' other Ults, I think it comes down to the raid leader's preference to be honest. At least that's how it seems to me. Some ask for Nova, others ask for Horn and others ask for Nova.

I have done a lot of trials in EU Ebonheart pact and I haven't seen people using barrier after the 1.6 got launched.
It could be different in other alliances but I wouldn't know.

In pvp on the otherhand barrier is a life safer if you play in big organised groups. I think they use the one that gives ultimate back.
