Help with a Templar Build?

Got a VR3 Imperial Templar, and I want to build him up so he can handle PvP and the Veteran content more easily. I plan on having 1H/Shield on his main bar, and Bow on his off-hand bar. My main focus is DPS, but I also want to be able to at least heal moderately for survivability. In addition, I've used heavy armor for most of the game, but I'm considering doing a 5M/2L set so I can manage stamina recovery and Magicka recovery (I like to use quite a bit of Aedric Spear abilities, which is unfortunate because they're quite Magicka heavy). I know this may be pretty barebones info to ask for help with, but I'm relatively new to the MMO experience, so I'd appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks in advance!
