Need some opinions

Hey everyone

Me and my friend are planning to start new characters but we are unsure about few things

I am planning to start a sorcerer and my friend wants to play as a night blade

I have my main V1 templar in Daggerfall covenant

We wanted to create both characters in Ebonheart Pact to experience the new locations, quests etc.., since my main one is in Daggerfall

In Long Run the ideal outcome would be to have all our characters on the same alliances so I can play my templar with my friend who would be on night blade

However there is no character transfer between alliances which makes us unsure whether what to do

I wanted to know your opinion whether what should we do, either sacrifice my interest and play the two new characters in Dagerfall, so we would all be on the same alliances or start as Ebonheart and experience all new but not being in the same alliances

Does someone know if ESO is planning to add character transfer to the gamer not?

Thank you

Well I know they are going to try and do cross alliance dungeon runs. But for the most part no, the experience you are looking for will not happen in the fore seeable future

Well i have chars in all alliances, it's nice to start on a different one but know after ending main quest the alliance zone ill be open to you. So you ill experiment all alliances one way or another.

Anyway to get a partner is really good, in special if you both use the pledge of mara.
Also note starting in DC you ill got to AD and after it you ill go to EP (at ~VR6)

Starting on EP DC ill be your next alliance zone and everything ill be scaled to VR1 (on glenumbra)

I am aware that the game allows players to experience all of the alliances eventually

But my main concern is that I won't be able to play my templar in pair with my friend's night blade

So I think I am coming to the conclusion that me and my friend should start both as Daggerfall

You and your friend could always make three characters, one "team" per alliance... then stick with the team where you find more friends. Or which you enjoy playing most.

Or just pick one and play there.

I for example have my "main characters" in the pact, but have some alts in the other alliances as well - granted, I made those before I knew of cadwells silver/gold... But it does give me the option to play there as well...

But then I would not be able to play my templar with my friend's night blade and I know for myself that templar would always be my strongest and favorite character

And also I doubt that we are going to spent that much time into creating 'teams' in each of the alliances

also we are going to play mainly together, not that much into socializing with other players

Well it sounds like you're pretty invested in your Templar, so I think you've answered your own question :)

You'll see it all anyway. I kind of chuckled at "the game 'allows' you to play the other alliances" tho.
More like Forces you to lol.

I think you'll be happier going with your instincts as long as your friend doesn't care.
