17k Bow Heavy Attack?

Just wondering if this is common? I've seen heavy attacks that high before, but only with fire staffs, and when I was a vampire. Never with a bow.

✭✭✭✭✭Seen stuff like that... now and then. A lot of archers go all stamine, makes them glass cannons... attacking from stealth and with a critical can make for some heavy hits.
Worse thing I once suffered were two lethal arrows after another, one for 16K, the second for 18K... which naturally done me in...
One just learns to deal with the enemy getting lucky now and then, respawns and carries on...0 -

Yeah, I've seen lethal arrows hit for heaps but never a heavy attack, just seems a bit ridiculous to me that someone can get their heavy attacks with a bow that high1 -

I see it as more of an aim. There SHOULD be such a leap between old and new players otherwise what motivation is there. Getting one shotted makes me more excited of whats to come rather than moan about it.4

I've been playing since beta, im no new player. I just dont have 4 hours a day to grind for champion points4 -

✭Things like this don't absolutely require Champion Points. I can do this much and more damage with a bow on my DK using certain skills and sets, without having any points in bow expert or precise strikes.0 -
mtwiggz✭✭✭✭✭It all boils down to the Champion System and gear.
Before I went back to Magicka NB I was testing out different stamina builds. At one point I was able to hit for 15-20k heavy attacks with my bow from stealth. It was absolutely ridiculous. At the same time I had no survivability at all, if I was seen I was dead. The fact that a heavy attack was capable of doing more damage than a skill was beyond me.
Nearly the same goes for my Sorc. In a full Spell Damage build with buffs and blue buff food I can easily throw out a proc'd Frag for 15k+ damage against a non nirn stacked player.
Mind you both of these builds were with 275 Champion Points. I could only imagine the devastation a player with 500+ Champion Points could cause. While many people have brought up the fact that CP is making the gap between players more vast, it seems ZoS has no idea how to manage it at this point.1 -

capcody✭✭✭i can hit players for over 20k heavy attacks. my highest record on a player is 59k, but it has to be under all the right conditions to get it. on average 10k non crits. to reach that high cp does help.. mighty/bow expert/presice strikes/ add that in with indigenous weapons and glass cannon set/ and hit from stealth i can 1 shot sorcs with there shields up. im glad eso has reduced the damage with imperial city. cause atm its just cheesy0 -

and to be fair... you would do much more damage...with champion points and...

With the CP system you can buff heavy and light attack damage so all into that from stealth I have one shoted players it's crazy.Chaos Shadow-Scale: Shadow Archer
