frenchyuk86✭✭✭Hiath in VDSA, because this boss can have some of the most STUPIDEST RNG game design I have EVER seen. Dumbest combos and he usually glitches out during his last phase 5/10 times and does siphon soul before he is meant to. Or just one shots you with a 29k steel tornado.
Pulls you into a nova, pulls you into encase which explodes and kills you all, pulls you into a carve and the DoT kills you.
Terrible boss, terrible RNG design.
Nova dropped split second pulled in. It's a game changer....

✭Playing my VR9 sorc there wasn't much I couldn't solo with relative ease, but the Hunter Camp world boss in the Rift wiped me a few times before I could manage to kill them. My sorc is a dps build in mostly light armor, so the boss might be easier on a tankier character, but it was a great battle on my sorc.[DC/NA]0 -

✭✭✭✭✭My hardest boss (so far) is Shada in the Shada's Tear dungeon in Craglorn. The fight goes well at first, but then she summons FOUR mages who hit you nearly simultaneously with 20K death bolts. I went through 20+ soul gems the other night trying to kill her, because it was such a hassle soloing all the mobs and bosses just to get to her, but I couldn't figure out a reliable strategy for my build.
At one point, I actually killed ALL four mages before they could get me, by blinking with BoL to move quickly in between interrupting their casts and dealing damage when I could. I was cheering for my victory, but then you know what happened? Shada just summoned four MORE. It was so depressing!

✭✭✭✭✭There's three Lamia's in a cave in Upper Craglorn. They killed us a couple of times.
Them or some of the wandering bosses in Imperial City. There's a litch boss that took quite a few of us in the district to take down.
Hi, I know those 3 lamias, well... you're talking about the Serpent's Nest delve. I used to have trouble soloing those guys until I stumbled upon a simple strategy. You know the pillar of rock next to their little pond? Just keep runnning around it! While the lamias chase you, drop ground AOEs like Elemental Blockade and Lightning Pool, and the "healer" lamia will eventually die. Once that happens, the next one should die much quicker and then the next one. IMPORTANT: Don't ever let them catch up to you!
The whole process takes about 20 minutes, as you can see from my DPS meter. In the picture below, I'm looking at the pillar of rock you're supposed to run around:

asneakybanana✭✭✭✭✭In trials I gotta go with warrior. Not even hard mode. Can't tell you how many runs perfect runs I've seen ended on the burn phase. People just can't get the mechanics in their head. For dungeons its gotta be any boss where you have to have x amount of adds spawn. Czeri✭✭✭✭✭The hardest boss I've encountered (I haven't done vet group dungeons or trials, mind), was a lich in one of the Craglorn delves. The tricky part was that the fight was on a fairly narrow platform, so trying to find a piece of ground without his AOE on it was almost impossible, so everyone was wasting all their stamina trying to roll dodge out of harm's way...0 -
