Exploits & Hacks will be the end of ESO

Call me a Purist if you must as I like to rely on my own fingers and skill level to play an MMO. However in ESO this just does not cut it. Your game REWARDS hackers (Viperbot & Radar hacking), exploiters and lag spammers. ESO is broken...I have been around since Beta but I think it’s time to say good bye...you do nothing about EVERYONE exploiting (i.e.: two + mundus stones, continuous mist form, lag switching, toggled mage light…etc.). I was in a PVP group the other night and almost 50% of the group was utilizing exploits. Why... cause you never do anything to fix it. But above all else you don’t fix the lag, in part caused by players utilizing bots and exploits. Fix your game or the last of your truly devoted players will be leaving. I have seen MANY posts on the internet about Zenimx ignoring these issues and for the most part I have ignored such posts, but at this point it’s just out of hand. Fix the game and put an end to all the exploiters. Yes, I am talking to you Developers and you’re Friends!

pretty sure theres no bots or radars but exploits are outa control my homie doggy diggagy dog

Agree with this. Never seen any evidence of radars or bots, but people talk about exploits like you're dumb if you don't. Glad to hear some might be being fixed.

All online games have some kinds cheats or hacks to deal with but this game has more in one place than I think I have ever seen in 20 years of mmo play. I know the Dev's are fixing them slowly, but in the mean time it does take some of the fun out of things..

I'd like to say that console isn't dealing with problems like that yet, but if you go and talk to *14s in Belkarth on Xbox they'll always be grouped at the Wayshrine discussing the latest ways to get around limits and generally try to bypass any existing measures to cap their damage or tankage. And they will actually tell people that they're playing the game wrong if they don't hunt out exploits and actively complain about any measures of balancing that ZoS actually does mention.

Lets put this into a better perspective.

We have so many players in this game that cheat, and then preen about how they are such amazing players because they can beat those of us that do not cheat in any way

But let me ask you this, if we play a game of poker in which you get to go through the deck before we play and spot yourself all four aces when the cards are dealt

Yeah you so owned him dude, real pro gameplay there.

I called one out on it the other night and he got crazy mad at me, all defensive, started talking *** about his mad skills. Im like dude, I dont even recognize your skills, nothing youve accomplished means squat because you exploit, period. Note this exploit was one of the less impactful ones, a common one, one that isnt a massive game changer (double mundus) and even then he got MASSIVELY butthurt about it

Then there are the ones that know and use stuff I absolutely will not share or mention because those are "real" hacks and exploits and i refuse to play with those people. Stuff that Cassiah is alluding to, and it makes me wonder just how this stuff is allowed to go on for so long. I totally understand her anger, we spoke about this relatively recently. I dont want her to quit, but I will understand if she does, because its complete garbage that doesnt belong in our game.

A bunch of bugs/exploits are being fixed in next patch. To name a few:

1. Toggleables
2. Nirnhoned
3. Double mundus
4. And more that I dont at this time remember..

Sadly, as with every update in ESO, with each bugfix, they introduce 1 or 2 new ones...

Whats sad is those are the lesser ones that everyone actually knows about

Trust me there are wayyy worse out there, and those probably wont be fixed.
