There are only 3 food types and 3 drinks.
This means you can have the single character have points spent in the multiple-per-craft skill. and use him to supply all your toons.
Make up a batch of each and put em on the characters (10 or 20 of each food on each character) It takes 5 mins to make em all.
I say this because the time to log into the inn in Craglorn pissed me off, far quicker to just have them made.
PS, you need to have skills to 50 and points spent in the skill to allow the character to make vr10 foods (obviously)

The equipment ones are so-so but I recently started power leveling those so now I have decent materials to use.

Thanks for the tip Tors! I thought the food had to be crafted on the spot like they make you do with other writ items. My problem is that I don't have all of the food writ items memorized so not sure on what to stockpile. Is there a chart somewhere that shows each tier of provisioning writs?

Buy it at a guild store. Someone will have it on sale.
If you do writs on multiple characters, you will end up with many copies of all the green recipes. Every day I post a few for sale. I also sell all my blues and purples unless my main and my provisioner alt need them. Writs will have you swimming in recipes. You will also never lack provisioning mats with that and maybe a few hirelings.

No, my provisioning and alchemy writs take about 45 seconds each, per day. The exception are days when I don't actually have the food or potions ready, that takes a little longer, maybe two minutes tops.
Excluding days when I'm out of resources (like, this morning) finishing off all the writs takes about 10 minutes for my entire account.
