Xpadder and Xbox 360 controller

Hi,

I just got an xbox 360 controller for windows to upgrade from the brutal hand-killing finger pain inducing Logitech F310.

It's awesome. Except I must say the Logitech Profiler software is definitely better than Xpadder. Sadly, my character seems to randomly dodge around when I'm fighting I've tried increasing the dead zone, and that doesn't seem to help. It seems when I switch directions suddenly sometimes I dodge roll instead.

Has anyone else has this problem / has a suggestion to fix it? I'm not sure about the Xpadder advanced settings to get it to work (for example, I use shift button + Dpad to combo W then W or A then A so i can easily dodge roll), but i'm not sure if release hold, or some other combo would prevent the joystick it from accidentally double tapping?

Thanks for reading

I think I just now figured out what it is

Since WASD is mapped to the joystick, and the shift button (to enable another set of controls) also has the joystick mapped to WASD, it seems like when I tap my shift button I roll because it's hitting the direction I'm holding (ie; I'm running forward, I hit the shift button to use a certain skill, then I roll forward).

Is there a way to prevent this?

I use xpadder and it happened to me as well. In game, I turned double tap dodge off, and changed the dodge to a different key which I programmed on my controller, XB1. It might not help you but it sure helped me.. No more surprise dodges..
Anyone else rooting for Molag Bal?
