Absolutely so and in fact a huge portion of RGC do not have ESO Plus. There is a massive amount of quests and content to get through and being a PS4 ESO Plus subscriber I have to admit unless I stack rings and a scroll there is not much of a benefit from the XP boost.

I subscribe because I will play every DLC they bring out and the ESO Plus gives me that, don't worry though you can just buy it as a once off as well!

If this is your first time playing on whatever system, you have so much a head of you. Just wait till you hit Caddies Silver and Gold, well then you might consider subscribing and getting some scrolls haha.

Yes, I subscribed since the beginning and recently unsubbed because the money just wasn't worth it.

With sub you get an xp boost, but xp is already pretty easily acquired. You also get increased gold, but there's not much to spend it on, and the increase isn't going to make you rich by any means. You also get reduced time for research of traits, this is the only thing that really helps to be honest, but since I'm doing my last nirnhoned traits right now, I didn't really need it.

Sub if you feel like supporting the game and its developers, but it's certainly not going to improve your game experience very much.

    Lol yes

I'm so member but benefits are trivial real in scheme of game
“There is no pain greater than this; not the cut of a jagged-edged dagger nor the fire of a dragon’s breath. Nothing burns in your heart like the emptiness of losing something, someone, before you truly have learned of its value. Often now I lift my cup in a futile toast, an apology to ears that cannot hear.”

Absolutely. In fact the membership only provides a few minor benefits. I do it for the research times 10% off. Seems small until it's a 21 day research time lol

Yes, however you won't have access to new areas when they release unless you outright buy them from the crown store, but if you buy crowns in bulk it works out to be cheaper than sub'ing :D
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

    Yes.

All ESO plus does is give 10% boost to exp, gold, trait research time, and renting DLC there's nothing really special about it. Mainly have "memebership" to show support for your favorite game series and game companies ;3

I subbed for a one month...purely because I wanted a mount, and the cost of 1,500 Crowns was approximately the same as a months sub...which came with 1,500 Crowns :/

Unlike another MMO (on the PS) *cough* DCUO *cough* there are no limitations imposed on non subscribers.

Yes, as people stated above main reason to sub is to support the game you enjoy playing.

That being said my sub lasted 1 month ;)

    As above...

I still sub personally.... I use the crowns you get from a sub to buy XP scrolls to level new characters (I'm an alt-o-holic), and as a bonus I get the extra XP & gold etc from being a subscriber.

That's the only reason... I would have bought the crowns anyway, and play enough to benefit from the other minor buffs too.

Unless you play a lot... and think you may be wanting to level a number of characters then I'd say stick to just buying crowns when you need them. Even then its not going to have a big impact either way... its only 10% extra XP after all.

    1) Do you have income?

If yes, then go for it.

If no, then don't go for it. It's not a major upgrade or anything when it comes to PvE. 10% isn't much anyways. Though you might be interested on the monthly Crowns.

    @Draghorn
Even with ESO Plus and max crafting passives 9th trait research takes 27 days.

That's why they changed to BtP - yes.
And while some things will require extra purchase if you are without membership, some people find it much easier to pay for that when it occurs & as they choose, and not have the monthly subscription fee. Each as they like!

Yes, absolutely. I haven't subbed since it went B2P because subbing doesn't offer anything I want. If I want something from the crown store, I just buy a pack of crowns as I require them.

Of course, in a week you wil need to either buy the new DLC or sub to play in the Imperial city.

With the advent of DLCs, the value of subbing will increase. How much is a function of how much the DLCs costs to buy, how often they come out and how much you want the DLC content.

In my opinion, if DLCs came out every 2 months, subbing would be a no-brainer. If they come out every 6 months (and cost 1500 crowns), then no-sub is the approach. I think ZOS plans to do new DLCs every 3 months.

The benefits you get from a membership in no way really affect how much you enjoy the game. The extra XP and gold isn't worth the subscription cost IMO. I cancelled my sub after I completed all of the research traits on everything. To me that timer decrease was the only benefit worthwhile.

You can access everything the game offers right now. The only content you don't have access to while unsubscribed are the DLC(Imperial City) coming out in a bit. You can buy them with crowns though and then it's yours always. If your subscribed and drop your membership, you also lose access to all DLC's you didn't purchase with Crowns.

For me, now and in the future, there's no reason to resubscribe based on information we've been given to date.

As someone who subscribed until the loyalty program ended, you can easily enjoy 100% of the game without a membership. That being said you may want to buy some crowns for the update here in a few days to enjoy that aspect of the game as well but once that's done you'll have No restrictions to your playing. Unlike other games that give you penalties on how much gold you can earn/hold or how many epic items you can wear etc.. You can do it all up in here without a membership!
