Stuck at V7

Hi All,

I have pretty much soloed my way to vet level 7 buy just doing every possible quest and killing everything on the way to each quest (prefer running than riding)

My quest notes say i have done around 98% of quests in each area, just a couple here and there i have seemed to of missed.

I have done every solo dungeon possible (i think), although The Vile Mance was a PITA solo and i done about 75% of it (not the boss)

Problem i have now is getting to V14 as even if i did clear up the remaining quests i have missed i don't think they will even make a dent on my levelling.

Yesterday i tried to solo Rulanyil's Fall (think it was called this) and it was just too hard so i gave up

So i am wondering is there a way for me to solo to V14.

Gotta a strong feeling the answer is going to be "NO" not solo but i thought i would ask anyway.

p.s Reason i like to solo is i like to chill and kill with a beer and it's the beer that hinders me from grouping as i am back and forth to the toilet

And this is why I did the bare minimal to complete cadwell's silver then stopped questing.... knew there wouldn't be enough quests to hit vet 14, and i wanted to save as many quests as possible for after the imperial city patch hits when the vet quests give 50% more xp...

your gonna have to grind just as komodo said. it's terrible, and boring, but that's really your best option at this point

Daily writs also give some exp. As do undaunted dailies, but most people can't solo those.

Grinding is so much faster, though i'm not sure why your vet 7, when i completed cadwell gold i was vet 11 and i still didn't do all the quests?

Have you done delves, dolmens, world bosses?

Exploring every area and doing all the quest, anchors, delves and dungeons at least once should have gotten you way past 7. I'm 12 and I skipped completing most of my starting zones and haven't even finish the gold area. Something doesn't compute here. Though I do PVP a lot.

@leepalmer95 @Thecapeo I seemed to have skipped most of the delves and world bosses.

Right now i am doing all the delves, then i will go onto the world bosses (tried one solo but just could not do it, got him down to about 90%)

I will then go onto the anchors.

So far the delves ain't giving much XP after completion :'(

well you are over levelled for them especially the vet 1-3 ones..

Hmm you could go grind it is a lot faster.

I'm currently leveling an alt and she just hit VR8 last night by doing as *little* quests as possible and spending most of her time in Cyrodiil.

Point being, i haven't even started Cadwell's Gold yet while skipping 80% of all quests, didn't grind and yet i'm at the same level as you.

There's plenty of ways to get XP in this game ...

@leepalmer95 yep, over levelled for them but atleast i got to get the Skyshards and turn the icons on my map from black to white

@SirAndy I have got to level V8 now but i have not got a clue as to why after doing 99% of all of the map apart from Craglorn and Cyrodiil

I have been to Cyrodiil (Thornblade as it was unpopulated) 4-5 times now going to Cheydinhal for the daily quests and each time i get jumped by 2-3 players hiding/lurking near the quest givers so i am on the verge or quitting going to Cyrodiil for now.

Also tried Craglorn but simply cannot solo them dungeons, joined up for the first time with a group of players but they was complete ars*holes and rude as hell so i left.

Oh well, back to Reapers March to grind the solo dungeons.....lol

Theres an exp penalty in solo dungeons, just go find mobs in the vet 9/10 zone such as zombs

How do people do all quests and still get themselves underleveled? Im a vr8 dps at the start of cadwells gold.. Thats close to being two vet levels ahead and I didnt do a single grind fest. Probably killed more than I should during questing but im really curious.

Hell, I managed to solo public dungeons too, just need to change my setup. And I havent even touched cyrodill yet on this char.

I'm at vet 7 and I just now entered eastmarch in Caldwell silver. How can you be stuck?

Maybe join some dungeons. Do the pledges everyday too

Are you sure its every quest? i literally do not just the main quest, but the side quests as well. You do have to explore out of the main quest trail to gather these quests

Somethings wrong then, I have done every quest in each zone and not even half of the dungeons up to the last caldwell silver zone and I am almost V7. I don't grind mobs either, soooo you must have skipped some material somewhere.

Also, make sure you check your achievement list and get all the achievements in each zone. I know you got the Adventurer ones but don't forget all the delves, Dark anchors and finding all the locations. 100% each zone nets you a lot of xp.

Hit up Cyrodiil last night and had a blast for 3hrs, even made it too Cropsford without getting jumped on (it's one of the reasons i don't visit Cyrodiil as i seem to always get jumped on and i hate that long travel back to Cheydinhal.

All achievements maxed out for all maps except Cyrodiil & Craglorn, even found more quests than what the achievement said.

On a good note now that i crafted 5pcs Seducers 2pcs Torg Pact i am finding it a lot easier and faster to grind, plus i respecced as my build was a bit of a mess

Gonna try and stay in Cyrodiil as long as possible as Craglorn is hard to do solo.

No way have your cleared everything if you're VR7 and done with Gold, unless you've been sneaking past every mob you've ever encountered.

Yea, do Cyrodiil first. I'm Vet 13 and have 100% every zone except the last Cadwell's Gold Zone and Craglorn. For Cyrodiil, join a guest campaign where your faction is dominating. Try to go during off peak hours. I spent a few days in Cyrodiil doing everything there and I leveled up a few times there. Good Luck!
